There are lots of falafel places in Bristol but this is my favourite. The hummus is the best and the decor is great too

Great falafel, great salads, awesome breads and now vegan shawarma! One of the few places in Bristol that has a great seitan offering. Been going for years and hopefully for years to come

really real, tasty eating. the vegan schawarma with its homemade side is delicious, as well as the falafel options and laffa wraps. friendly staff in this family business. there is also a beautiful outdoor terrace for sunny days!

Downstairs at Falafel King is decorated so nicely with lamps and colourful cushions- it’s a lovely place to sit. The menu is quite extensive compared to other ‘falafel’ places and includes a vegan Schwarma made from seitan which is delicious. Also highly recommend the laffa chips strips of toasted laffa bread which are very tasty.

I visited Bristol for the first time to give a guest lecture at the University. After the event everyone involved recommended Falafel King and they were right. The atmosphere was laid back and the food was delicious. The bean soup was particularly tasty and they made up a box for me for my return trip to Manchester. Bristol is very lucky to have Falafel King: a little bit of home from home!

falafal king was a super surprise supplement to our trip to bristol. charming little restaurant that was removed from the main street. in portions were great and the prices seemed very reasonable. everything tasted amazing, and the service was politle and quick. Only on the bottom was the kitchen closed for main dishes. website says it closes at 21:15, but it was closed at least two hours earlier than that on our visit, which reduces the menu options quite a bit.

There was a period of time I dog sat really often near Clifton Downs and I came here wayyyy too often, if that is possible. It's a wonderful place, though I always do takeouts. Tried their sabich (aubergines and egg though I'd think if you are vegan you can ask for without the egg) pita and of course, their falafels. Their falafels are soooooooo goood! Possibly one of my favourites, alongside that of Eat a Pitta's x Can't choose which one I like better! Their sauces are always really good as well, and their salads are lovely. The staff there are always soooo friendly and I can't stress enough how great this place is!
