What a great service Lorraine gave us. We had the burger meal deal. She was so friendly to both of us and the burger was great. A free pint on a Tuesday with the burger. Thank you Lorraine

What a terrible place. Says it is dog friendly but only in the disgusting garden area. Toilet paper on the floor, cigarette butts everywhere, tables with empty plates and glasses not cleared at all. Staff very rude behind the bar. This is probably the worst pub we have ever been in. Our local but we will never return.

Been going here for years, but just had such a lovely time with Lorraine M in charge (Lorraine G is sound too! that I had to leave a review have loved this pub as a place to eat and a place to drink since I was of legal age, but I had to leave a review 11 years late because we didn't have smartphones back then this is the regular spot for all the Lodmoor lot! Discusting pub. Never ever experienced toilets as disgusting as these. Food was good but if we experienced these toilets first we would never have eaten here. Floor was soaking wet, no toilet paper, no hot water, dryer never worked, scared to touch anything. The other toilets in the conservatory was the same. It was like going back in time but worse. Honestly don't know how anyone could go there.

Had a brilliant evening with my family we all come here for lunch. Food was resonably priced and was delicious at the price point. The staff member who dealt with us was a little older lady named Lorraine , she made the experience even better by going above and beyond for us it was a little busier but she made sure we was seated quickly orders were correct and drinks were flowing... it actually made us feel at home. we will be returning. Would definitely recommend if you haven't tried this place

We were on our way to a different pub/restaurant and it was fully booked, so we continued on and found The famous old spa. Why it has the word famous in the title is beyond me ... as we found it very forgetable ! The decor is shabby to say the least, this palce is in desparate need of renovation both inside and out. There was a bucket in the middle of the bar to catch the rain, it had a boarded up broken window pane. The menu looked good, the food didn 't and didn 't taste nice either. But the one saving grace this place has got is the staff, they were really lovely, despite their working environment they were friendly, welcoming and happy. For that alone, I have given you two stars Speisekarte ansehen
