exceptional place, nice eating, personal that can not do enough for them, very clean something for all and proper tee leaves with proper china and lavazza coffee alcohol if they want it! what is there not to like x

"This cafe in Kendal has great veggie and vegan options, and definitely more exciting vegan options than a lot of places. I've had the vegan breakfast (which includes scrambled tofu, vegan sausages, avocado, etc. and the Kale pesto pizza (with vegan cheese and pine nuts) which were both amazing! Before I went vegan (was just veggie for a bit) I also had the avocado and poached eggs on toast which was yummy. All made better by it being dog-friendly! They also have some vegan cakes every day but I've never tried those, they look amazing though."

"The tapas dishes were quite good and were served in quick succession, which may appeal to some diners while not to others. Unfortunately, most of the drinks we attempted to order were unavailable, so we ended up just having tap water. The toasted beans served as a starter were stale, which was disappointing. I had to take some points off for the service because they failed to bring one of the desserts we ordered. It has a lively atmosphere, the music was enjoyable, and the decor is nice with large windows facing the street. Despite the bustling environment, we weren't rushed to leave, which was a pleasant touch."

"We were visiting Kendal for the day and we decided to come here for lunch on a whim. It was a bloomin warm afternoon and our spot outside was nice and shady and there was a booster seat available for my daughter. Our food was delicious, we both had halloumi and onion marmalade paninis and my girl had beans and toast which she seemed to enjoy! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit, the staff were super friendly, despite it being pretty busy! On the high street you get hoity toity yuppie restaurants, but then you get honest and comfortable places like this. I'd choose it every time. Highly recommended, we can't wait to go again."
