"Had a lovely lunch for 14 of us at the weekend. The staff were very accommodating in offering an alternative to Pizza for one of our Gluten Free guests (they can create a base if you give them 48 hrs notice I believe) and produced a fantastic antipasti platter. The pizzas are delicious and there are many options. One of our pizzas was not made correctly and again this was quickly sorted out and a new one made. You felt nicely full afterwards and not uncomfortably stuffed!! If I could suggest 2 improvements that would be to have water on the table and more easy access to pizza cutters but I still give it 5 stars as everyone said how much they had enjoyed it. I look forward to visiting again can't believe I've not been before."

"Our first visit was wonderful. The steak was excellent, as well as all the other dishes. I highly recommend trying the lobster dish as a side - it was amazing! I want to thank our waitress Paige for taking care of us. She was very professional, attentive, and a young woman. Hi Paige, I appreciate how you remembered my order and joked about me not liking meat."

"I was a big fan of the Coach house in Humberstone, having frequented this establishment many times, over many years, NOT ANYMORE!, we arrived at 2.25pm on this August bank holiday Monday, To be fair, lady on reception warned us that we would have to wait until 3.pm before they could take our order, and we were aware that it was a Bank Holiday, so no problem with that, however we later found out that what the lady neglected to tell us, was that from them taking our order, we would then have to wait additional 45 minutes before being served, after a patient 50-55 minute wait after taking our order, with Sports Bar and Terrace barely 1/3 full at this point, I left my table in search of our waitress, to politely ask if we could have an indication of when we may expect our food (found 6 of them all huddled around the till), at which point a waitress I'd not seen before appeared to want to take charge and argue with me over how long we had actually been waiting.... who knows when the food finally arrived since at that point we left, food was prepaid due to us being on the Terrace, I did consider asking for a credit however i didn't fancy dealing with the argumentative waitress any longer, we were just pleased to get out of there, I won't be returning, I think the Coach house will be more in need of my £40 than me, BEWARE standards are slipping!"

"Pleasant ambiance, friendly staff although no sign of social distancing and the tables too close for intimacy. Reasonably prompt service considering the restaurant was quite busy. I couldn't find a menu on line but there was the usual range of dishes one would expect in the average Indian establishment. We both chose a Biryani and were brought a substantial meal. The steel bowls weren't hot so the meal was cooling giving a greasy texture to the rice. Perhaps the chef was trying to emulate a Lucknow or Kolkata Biryani as spices were sparingly used. On the other hand perhaps the local taste is for bland tasteless sauces. Either way I'm afraid it wasn't a pleasant experience, and that extended to the accompanying vegetable curry. I've munched my way through some memorable curries in the last 60 years, from Delhi to Kandy starting with the famous Veeraswamy in Regent Street. This won't be one of them. On the positive side there was plenty of protein with notably succulent tender lamb, and the onion bhaji (which I'm very partial to) was excellent."

"I was quite disappointed. I usually enjoy coming here, but my recent experience was not great. I had made a reservation for food and drinks, but upon arrival, we were informed that they couldn’t serve food because the kitchen was too busy. We were then directed to sit by the window as there were no tables available for dining, even though we had a reservation. We waited a long time for our drinks, and it felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. It's a shame because I typically have a wonderful time here. The cocktails were delightful, but the rest of the experience left much to be desired."
