I have been going to nick the fish for 5 years and they will never be disappointed. friendly staff and great eating, what more could they wish from their local chippy!

first visit here and disappointed to say the least. some of our orders were gone and some were wrong, only established when they came back to work. chips pushed in a pocket and spit out in the larger pocket.

The best fish and chips I've ever had! Hands down! Crispy and light batter, hand cut chips and fresh tartar sauce. An enjoyable meal and friendly staff. I discovered the place by asking the locals they were right it really is the best! Speisekarte ansehen

Two pieces of fish bought, one was okay, mine was awful and virtually inedible! The batter was uncooked, so limp powdery and inedible. I had to scrape it off which then exposed a very thin piece of barely cooked fish. This place had been recommended...to me by many people too!

we ordered from here for delivery on Saturday. we have ordered many paintings before delivery and everything was always extraordinary. unfortunately not this time. the food was cold and had to be warmed up 1/2 hours in a lot after we got what soggy chips and soggy battery meant. that will be a sad one.

We have been several times and very satisfied with the fish chips. Always very good with the Haddock and Cod (recommended by Nick, I think) both Large excellent. Chips excellent and tasty mush peas. I found this fish and chip shop by googling it a while ago after reading the good reviews. I have to say all orders are cooked to order and despite being busy every time I’ve been there, the service and waiting time has always been...very very good, but more importantly, quality has never been compromised. Keep up the great work and looking forward to visiting again soon.

these are the only fish and chips where I could eat the whole thing! the teig is tasteful and delicate. the chips are perfect. pea frit are so good. it is a beautiful meal that they get, not only a quick take. we often forget our children the part of the children and it is huge. a real piece of fish. I've been coming for 3 years and refuse to eat elsewhere, what's the point!

I saw a review online while in locality and popped in. It was a friday and heaving, which is great for the shop as assume it says theyre good. expect to wait 15 mins... they have deliveroo and uber so that means obviously everyone waits...a period of time. Looks very clean from outside. 3.50 for large chips which were only sufficiemt for two small grandkids, you could hardly see chips under two jumbo sausages, cant understand why not on a par with others in that regard. I even asked the lady serving was that large chips. Fish 4.95) looked lovely though very greasy that bottom batter soggy and stuck to bottom, which was a shame as otherwise nice.
