"Staying at Westleton, we visited the Eels Foot for dinner having been recommended by a friend who lives nearby. There was a roaring fire and a good atmosphere, it's clearly popular with locals as well as B&B guests. And what a treat to eat somewhere without tinny background music! I had pigeon, and they kindly agreed to do it with dauphinoise potato from elsewhere on the menu. It was all excellent. My partner had a halloumi burger, which came with mushrooms as well, and was apparently very good, with plenty of nice fries. I finished with one of the best warm brownies I've had. Good service, reasonably priced, and altogrther an entertaining evening!"

"Really good quality food in a friendly local pub. Good quality ingredients, cooked to order, fresh veggies done just right, and lovely desserts done just right home cooked and prepared. They focus on quality, not on overloading your plate. Really tasty, and really excellent value. All this, plus a village green and a duckpond, who could want for more! We love this place."

"We booked breakfast via this website and turned up on time. We were ignored initially by staff and when we did speak to them, they seemed flabbergasted that we were expecting breakfast and had to check with the chef that he would continue with breakfast (even though people were being served still). They didn’t seem to know they took online bookings. This is fine, things happen, but the staff were very rude about it and we were made to feel uncomfortable. Clearly, the chef was unhappy as the other diners (I assume guests) said we had caused trouble, which added to our unease. One of the waitresses did not speak one word to us the entire time and the other waitress was clearly annoyed when taking our order. When the bill came, it had a service charge included to boot! This is probably our worst dining experience and we will not be coming again, which is a shame as we’re locals."

"My husband and I have been 3 times over 3 years. We bring our 2 dogs and have never been disappointed. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub area is clean, dog friendly, and the staff are always polite friendly and very welcoming. Dinner is always delicious with a menu to entice all tastes. While the dogs are sleeping safely, exhausted from the numerous walks and interests of a new environment, we can relax! This now leads me to breakfast, for all of us. The dogs are always welcome at the table for a sausage cut nicely into a doggie bowl while we enjoy another delicious meal. The genuinely friendly staff always welcome everyone and are available for any concerns. I can't wait for our next adventure to the Westleton Crown"
