"The Eel's is back on form. After a few years of it not being what it was, it was so good to feel it back on fire. The bar staff are so friendly and the food is so good. The haddock and chips were so good that we failed to persuade our boy that a full on fish and chip shop would be better for dinner the next night. He was right. They've got an amazing new pudding of cookie dough in an individual pan with ice cream on top. As a bonus, there's a jug of chocolate sauce. All so good and it's so good to see a return to form."

"This is, without a doubt, my favorite establishment of all time. The food is not only amazing but also very affordable, and you hardly ever have to wait for service. The owners, Matt and Amy, are almost always on-site and are incredibly welcoming. They even give local kids the opportunity to work during their holidays, treating them like genuine employees. The bar area is delightful and cozy, making it a perfect place to unwind. Every Sunday during the summer, they host an event called "Frog Box," which is essentially a raffle, with all the proceeds going towards the next one. I find myself coming here almost every night when I'm in the area to enjoy the drinks and engage in some friendly conversation. **Vegetarian options:** There's a great variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. **Dietary restrictions:** They offer gluten-free options for everything! **Parking:** There's convenient parking just around the corner, and it’s rarely full. **Kid-friendliness:** They have a kids' menu and plenty of fun activities in the grassy area behind the pub, so you can easily keep an eye on your kids while sitting outside. **Wheelchair accessibility:** The venue is wheelchair-friendly with no stairs to navigate. "Genauso gut wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten, mit exzellentem Personal und außergewöhnlichem Essen. Etwas enttäuscht darüber, dass wir einen Tisch neben dem einzigen Weg aus dem Restaurant in den Garten bekamen und die Gäste für die Dauer unseres Essens die Tür ununterbrochen öffneten und angelehnt ließen, so dass unsere Tochter sie mindestens ein Dutzend Mal geschlossen haben musste und dann an unserem Tisch vorbei streichen. Obwohl es ein schönes Mittagessen nicht ganz verdorben hat, hat es sicherlich den Vorteil genommen. Es war auch eine Schande, dass unser Wein erst ankam, als wir unsere Hauptgerichte beendet hatten ... genauso gut hatten wir Pudding. Wir werden ohne zu zögern zurückkehren, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Suffolk sind, und hoffen, dass unsere Kommentare nur dazu dienen, einen großartigen Ort zu verbessern"

"We were warmly welcomed and chose quinoa patties with goats cheese, pesto snd salad and caesar salad which was supposed to be with smoked chicken but they'd run out so was offered smoked salmon instead. Both very tasty and fitting for a summer menu. Very slow to be served...not quite sure why but we weren't in a rush thankfully and were able to browse the farm shop and art work whilst waiting. The homemade quince and apple juice was amazing. We had delicious hummingbird (pineapple fruit nuts) cake with coffee for afters..but could have chosen any of the delicious looking homemade cakes. Service was pleasant throughout but possibly a mention regarding the wait on food would have been good. However very happy to return both to the shop and the cafe."
