Fantastic experience for my birthday. My girlfriend was kind enough to take me here to celebrate and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were fantastic and the food was outstanding. A real feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. If you like fine dining this is fabulous.

The food is exquisite and incredibly tasty. It's a place I have to visit every time I come to Birmingham. The service and the dishes never fail to impress. As a loyal customer for three years who has visited over ten times, I can confidently say this. Dining experience: 5, Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Shhh! An absolute gem of a place. High end fine dining, every dish is superb but also works well with the previous dish. Great value lunches, refined wine list and fantastic friendly service. Like many places in Birmingham, it doesn't shout but once you've been you're bound to go back again... Just torn when it comes to telling others about it.. Or just keep it to yourself... I found this restaurant through a Groupon deal and paid £120 for the short tasting meal with a glass of champagne for two people. I didn't know what to expect with the food but my partner and I had the most incredible experience there. The food was just out of this world and every dish was like a taste explosion. I'd read some reviews stating people didn't feel full after the short menu; how ridiculous! To me, it's an experience, you're not there for pub grub, this is in another dimension! Outstanding. This was our second time visiting Folium and we couldn’t have had a better second experience. We first visited some years ago and were so impressed at the time that we have not been able to forget about it and had to make a special trip back! The food is on another level. We cannot understand how they have not yet been awarded a Michelin star as some of the dishes they have created are equal if not better than some of the 2/3 Michelin star restaurants we have been fortunate enough to visit. Went for dinner in restaurant Folium as a party of four. The restaurant is beautiful inside very clean and minimalistic. We were welcomed by Lucy who was amazing throughout the whole dinner. She made sure we had a lovely time and was friendly and cheerful but professional at the same time. The restaurant offers a tasting menu and plenty of drinks options including a wine pairing.
