"I tried to fix this entry multiple times. Yelp is just too lazy and careless about it. This place is not called Forst but Fosterbräu . The street name is not Via Paolo Oss Mazzurana 38 but Via Paolo Oss-Mazzurana 38 . The website is not forst.it but [hidden link]. When I was younger my dad used to buy Foster beer. I found out Foster had a location here and I had to check it out. We arrived for dinner on the 22nd of May and the place was quite busy and bustling. Still, we found two spots very quickly and sat inside (which I recommend unless you like to smell somebody smoking ... trust me ... it will happen . I looked at the menu which offers many options in terms of beer and food. I ordered canederli alla nonese in broth (canederli is Italian for the German knödel . Before our food arrived I had the opportunity to try two small samples of the Foster Pils beer that the waiters were distributing for free. It was smooth but slightly bitter, typical of pilsners. I ordered a small glass of Foster Kronen lager beer. It was smooth, refreshing, mildly malty, aromatic and slightly bitter at the end. It was a good beer but not something I would say amazing as a lager beer aficionado and connoisseur. It 's been a long time since I had knödel. They arrived at our table and when I tasted them I found them very good. I got 3 of them. The broth was light but salty. The knödel were properly prepared, made with bread and speak (in the style of the Val di Non, hence the adjective nonese . They were tasty and I liked them. I finished dinner by sharing an 1857 strudel . The dessert consisted of the classic soft pastry crust filled with apples. It came along with a few thin slices of fresh apple and a small scoop of ice cream. The strudel was good and tasty. It wrapped dinner on a positive note."

Wow when I say the WORST food and service I'm not kidding. I asked for a menu in English and the waiter rolled his eyes and insisted that I look while he was standing there instead of giving me a minute to order. I got so stressed I got the polenta??? Yeah no. Everyone thought their meal was very below average and the service was terribly unkind. We will not be returning ever and I do not recommend it to my worst enemy. Speisekarte ansehen

We have been travelling across Italy. This is the first restaurant where we did not feel welcome. No one greeted us, menus were literally thrown at us, when food was delivered, it was ok, but nothing above average. No one checked back with us. I had to finally ask for check. Even when paying, the cashier did not ask how dinner was. Was so disappointed. Trenton is the area my family was from. I hope this is not how we will be treated by others. Bring me back to Florence, people smiled there!

The place itself is very nice and neat. On the first page of the menu they say that gluten free options are marked as such- well, they are not (German menu) so the waiter had to point them out. The choice was rattert limited to their home made sausages, a Caesar's Salad (no idea whether the dressing was safe) and another salad. I had a gf beer. The place has more the typical regional stuff and no classic Italian food. The service was good. For a celiac only the sausages as they are certified as gf. They offered me a Schaer bread wirh my salad, prices were ok.
