"I am writing this review because there is no ability to review trip advisor. Trip advisor offers no facility to respond negatively to totally unreasonable reviews. I have been a frequent user of Pizza by Goli have over many decades and they have provided exceptional food with only occassional lapses in quality. Several recent reviews are from people who are assigning totally unreasonable ratings for relatively minor issues. They are entitled to their view but trip advisor should allow comment or at least downvotes for poor reviews. Finally TA should encourage criticism of their own facility as well as other providers. I can find no easy way to give feedback to trip advisor."

"The homemade lasagna was absolutely delicious! It featured high-quality meat filling with no gristly bits, and the gooey cheese on top was delightful. I also appreciated the lovely side salad, especially since they substituted rocket for the standard lettuce. I met a colleague for a business lunch and, not being local, I didn’t realize this place is near the HS2 construction site. I’m glad we made a reservation because the restaurant was packed, filled with a mix of locals and contractors. We barely found a parking space, so I highly recommend booking in advance. The service was friendly, though it was a bit slow due to the busy atmosphere. The interior had nice sparkly lights and the music was pretty enjoyable too! Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 5 out of 5."

"Best home cooked food, possibly the best pie I've ever had in my life!! Tuesday night, 16 live acts, the detail and professional equipment Mike has put into this place is second to none. It's a pub with everything you could ask for from a pub! Live music, amazing home cooked reasonably priced food, covered smoking area complete with pool table, dart board, service with a smile, top line up of beer, cider and ale on draught. I couldn't fault it if I tried. Price per person: £10–20"

"We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening, right after they had refurbished the playground. At first glance, I wasn't particularly impressed by the menu, but since it was getting late for the kids to eat, we decided to go for it. Fortunately, we were delighted with our choices! The food was fantastic—our orders included steak, lasagna, and two children's meals with nuggets and sausages. The steak was cooked perfectly to our liking, and my lasagna was incredible—homemade and the best I've ever had in a pub, with generous portions all around. There were no pre-packaged meals in sight either. All the staff were really friendly, the meals arrived quickly, and the service was excellent. It was definitely good value for money. The only downside was that there wasn't easy access to the playground directly from the pub. Overall, we look forward to returning!"

"Came here for lunch with a friend I hadn 't seen in 30+ years. Small wait for a table, but shown to a table by a gentleman and given menus. He failed to explain that you have to place an order at the bar, although asked if we had any allergies, so we talked for a bit expecting waiter service. We both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and chips this was £9.50 plus £2.75 for fries. The good came out reasonably quickly. The Philly was supposed to be brisket with onions peppers and cheese. Not much meat in it and oddly it had red kidney beans in it. Whilst not allergic, I 'm not keen and noticed that the "brisket chili was also on the menu. All I can think is they must use the same mix for everything. To me it was poor value at £13 for a sandwich and fries.
