Delicious cuisine which is a change from Italian/Venetian cuisine. I couldn't choose from the menu! The waitress helped me make my choice with the salmon with Haraimi sauce (tomatoes and paprika) and eggplant in 3 ways. It was delicious ! Kosher restaurant at the entrance to the Jewish quarter. Superb dining experience and extremely efficient service. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a very friendly and nice person. Make a reservation! The restaurant is typically full and the waitstaff is kind and attentive even as they run around in a whirlwind of activity. Shout-out to Leonardo and Chintzia! The food is yummy and well-priced but the portions aren't huge. We liked the steak, it was cooked well, and the tagliatelle pasta. The latkes were delish but you only get 2. There is a mix of tradition and family. They offer a wide choice of dishes, excellent quality of ingredients and impeccable and extremely kind service. They also showed particular attention and availability towards a diner who was allergic to gluten, explaining to her all the dishes she could have and giving her a plate of rice as a gift, instead of bread. Im alten jüdischen Ghettos befindet sich das älteste koschere Restaurant Venedigs. Es bietet eine große Auswahl an traditionellen jüdischen Gerichten zu akzeptablen Preisen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die trotz vollem Betrieb serviceorientiert sind. Zum Essen gab es im Vorfeld eine kleine Auswahl an Häppchen, die alleine schon satt machen. Das Essen sehr lecker. Wichtig unbedingt einen Platz reservieren. Die Tische sind relativ eng gestellt. Im Gegensatz zum sonst guten Eindruck dazu, die sanitären Anlagen nicht akzeptabel.

As good restaurants go, few can compare to the delicious, savory, mouth watering culinary experience of Gam Gam. Truth be told, even my own mother’s cooking pales in comparison to the incredible steak-thing I ate. Even my own Babushka, who makes a crazy soup, fell short relative to the matzah ball soup. Our waiter, a cute Italian boy named Leonardo kept us engaged and entertained throughout the entire experience. Jokes and anecdotes as well as practical advice on which food to buy and which food to avoid was all that left his mouth. We didn’t spend Shabbat there, but looking back- I wish we had.
