"Melucci’s Cafe is a fantastic spot for anyone craving fresh, authentic Italian food. The menu features a variety of classic dishes, all made with high-quality and fresh ingredients. There is a wide selection of desserts too… I had the Apple Pie with custard which was a huge portion and delicious! "We’ve eaten here a few times now and I’m glad we have. It’s a pleasant surprise to have a well priced and lovely little gem serving tapas just up the road, something which is in short supply round here! Compared to chain tapas restaurants, El Iberico is very well priced and does generous hearty portions. They have a good selection of drinks and the food is always tasty and far more authentic than some places. Staff are very attentive and look after their customers, and nothing seems too much trouble to them. Even when rushed off their feet, they take the time to look after their customers and aim for top service (which we have always had). The restaurant has a cosy, warm atmosphere and is a lovely little place to visit with friends or family. I’d definitely recommend a visit it’s worth the price for a local small business. "This is a cozy yet inviting restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also ample in portion size. The highlight of our experience was the attentive waiting staff, particularly a lovely female waitress who made our visit special. She took the time to sit with us, taking our orders one by one, explaining the menu in detail, and ensuring that everything we ordered was of the highest quality. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her, as she gladly accommodated our requests to add or remove items from our dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Was recommended by someone to come in to the restaurant so thought we’d give it a try ... After 20mins on waiting around to be served we finally ordered our food , we then sat back down where the freezer was to the right of me and I could see someone pulling food from the freezer(named brands) out with their hands. After waiting a little more people came in to the coffee shop where they sat down , but the previous persons coffee cups had stayed and they were not moved for the whole of the duration of the couple sitting down , no tables were cleaned and other tables had dirty plates on them. There were a couple of cakes , which I witnessed being cut without a glove on and the cake fell into their hand.... A little while later our food came out where the server didn’t know what food he was giving us and went back into the kitchen to shout to the “chef” and ask what is what , while they argued . Our order was wrong and we was asked “what do you want me to do about it , this is what your ordered” when it wasn’t in fact , I felt very intimidated and just said it’s fine leave it. While eating I could see the kitchen and could see the father and son arguing in the kitchen about another issue and were not very quite about it... The food was nice after all but customer service, cleanliness and attitude about the business is all wrong could defo do with some music as it’s very quite and atmosphere isn’t great !"

"For the love of God, anybody that enjoys good food or Vietnamese food then please stay away from this place. HOW this place has good reviews is an absolute mystery. It is BAD. The spring rolls were pale and under cooked. Instead of being deep fried as they should these are obviously cooked in an oven and almost certainly came out of a freezer. The banh mi is dreadful. The bread almost certainly is cheap bread out of a freezer being dry and soggy and cotton wool like in texture. The pork was flabby with no flavour are seasoning. No pickled veg as is typical in a banh me. No chilli sauce or mayo as promised The veg wasn't at all fresh. I had to remove the mushy old cucumber slices. I could only eat half of this stuff. avoid this restaurant at all costs. This food is an insult to Vietnamese food and good food in general."
