Only popped in as I fancied a pancake roll, very tasty, staff polite and friendly, was busy with people eating and , was a friendly relaxing atmosphere with background music

The food at this restaurant is excellently prepared with fresh ingredients. The chef is clearly knowledgeable and skilled. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering helpful suggestions. It's a wonderful spot to gather with friends and enjoy a meal together.

Had my evening meal here last night with 2 friends. The food was amazing, huge portions and took our leftovers home for my partner and he said it was the best chinese he had eaten. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and very friendly. Next time I'm in Southend will be coming back for dinner. Thank you for a lovely evening x

Anyone who goes here will not be disappointed. Josie is so friendly and helpful. Has regulars and really goes out to make them comfortable. The food is amazing. It's my 1st stop for dinner when I'm in southend. Holiday for 5 days. We ate 3 times. Chicken satay on skewers is to die for. Egg fried rice is fluffy best i have tasted Staff are so on point. Light and airy. Good atmosphere. Love this place.

This was the first time that we had visited this restaurant but on recommendation we decided to. Wow am I glad that we did. We had a party of 7 for a combined birthday and Father’s Day meal. The food was incredibly tasty, and plentiful, we all really enjoyed it, we had a mixed starter for 7 and there was so much of it and it was absolutely superb, we then had variety of dishes for main course and again the food really was second to none. The staff were very attentive and incredibly friendly. The ambience was good too. In fact the whole experience was wonderful. We will definitely be returning, and I would thoroughly recommend Gold Coast for a great Chinese meal.

We booked a table at Gold Coast for 8 p m on 13/07/24 . On arrival there was no table prepared and we was put in a corner next to a plant which made it very uncomfortable. During our starters the waitress flicked a tablecloth preparing a table next to us in our direction with force flicking good knows what on to our food totally unacceptable . Then during our main course the owners decided to sit at the table next to us and started doing their accounts and sorting out their money again totally unacceptable, we go to a lot of restaurants all around the world and have never experienced this , the bill was just shy of £100 for 2 which we feel we deserve better service , came away very disappoin...
