"The venue was very close, so much so that they only offered food for those who had made reservations in advance. The staff present did their best and were very attentive. Unfortunately, many guests arrived only to leave a few minutes later. Several items on the menu were unavailable, including fish cakes, sea bass, salmon, cod, and the cheese plate. However, the food that was available was quite good and excellent. Both restrooms lacked soap, and the men's room had a water leak, leaving the floor soaked. It's a shame, as the place has a lot of potential; I won't be returning."

We had a lovely Sunday roast and there was a great band on too, which we stayed to enjoy. The pub was lovely and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

Ideally situated, super personable staff, nice decor, acceptably clean, ample parking. Shame about the very poor quality of food..... this place could and should be so very much better. Extremely poor quality ingredients over salted gravy and half- dead garnish . Disappointing in the extreme. I feel the management should be ashamed of themselves. Food: 1

We like The Gower Inn and always get excellent service. The new menu is a bit restricted and prices have gone up (like everywhere) but you still get excellent service and good pub grub from The Gower Inn. Moreover, the setting is superb, local walks are lovely and you can park free for 3 hours if you get a meal or drinks at the Inn. I wish all venues in and around Swansea did the same: some do (e.g. The Pumphouse good pub) some don't (e.g. The Waterfront Beefeater good restaurant). Yer pays yer money ...

Stopped going here a number of years ago as it got really bad, thought a revisit was over due and was happy we did! Service was good, staff were quick and very friendly. Food was really good although the curry had very little meat and the world’s smallest naan it was nice, but not good value. Pub is in a great location, parking situation/signs is deliberately confusing, as it stands now if you are eating you don’t need to pay. Parking: Customers get free parking but you need to make sure you speak to the staff or you’ll get a ticket
