Lamb Szechuan was full of gristle. Noodle where served cool so very cold half way through meal. Beef curry the beef was so slimy it was uneatable. Told them they brought bill with service charge which I asked to remove. Nothing else taken off bill. Sadly will not be returning. Went for dim sum and it was not good. The egg tart was not traditional, and was more of a scrambled egg in pastry case. All the char siu, in the cheung fun, noodles and bao was all dry. We had to send dumplings back as the meat inside was definitely expired. Having found out they previously got a 1 hygiene rating I think I understand why. It is a shame because the restaurant itself is well decorated and the seating is nice. The interior decor is high end nice seats and ambience. Love the floor lights, bar design and plants. Very rich even the table setting os high end. The menu has silky clean paper quality. Well laid out and waitress explains well through out. We ordered fried calamari and fried shrimps. Very light fresh and crispy. Was totally impressed. Immediately knew we are experiencing one of the best Chinese restaurants. Now anxiously awaiting the main dishes oh and btw the dishes are very generous ie rice bowls are really big and have large prawns. Fried prawn toast is so crispy and tasty and spring rolls loaded woth nice sesame oil. Restaurant is busy with delivery orders as well as seated customers....
