Very good meal moderately priced. Biggest drawback/waiting time 1hr 15 mins and not packed. Coffee bit overpriced.

Enjoy delicious homemade food in a cozy and comfortable setting. The open fire during winter adds a lovely touch, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.

Lovely place and lovely staff whenever have been. Had a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate. It was very plentiful and yummy. So much so we couldnt finish it and they gave us a box to take home and enjoy later. Thankyou. 10/10

Fantastic afternoon tea . Service brilliant , really friendly . The food was freshly prepared . I really can't fault it . We had such a good selection of items sandwiches, sausage rolls , pork pies , grapes ,had to bring some home and we had unlimited tea !

What a wonderful tea room. Such a friendly greeting and felt instantly comfortable. My daughter loves a cooked breakfast and here you can have one any time of the day. I ordered a jacket potato with chilli and cheese and wow, it was big and so beautifully cooked with a crispy skin and so very tasty. I would highly recommend eating here. Speisekarte ansehen

We had the most fantastic cream tea here at Grandma Lilly's. We are the most difficult customers, with numerous allergies, disabilities and veganism. But ALL of our needs were catered for. It was outstanding. Far exceeded our expectations. It was my parents 65th wedding anniversary and they loved it. The staff are so helpful and kind and friendly. We will be back

This is the second time this has happened; the Chilli con carne was priced at £10.75 and the portion on the plate was very small, which did not justify the price. My husband's meal was cheaper than mine and he received a larger portion. I have had cheaper meals where you get a lot more, such as omelettes, jacket potatoes, and roast dinners. Even my husband commented that it was not worth £10.75. It felt like robbery, so we will not be returning. The waitress only took off £2.75, which is better than nothing I suppose. This is not the first time we have heard similar complaints from other customers.

Our first experience at this restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately, our most recent visit did not meet our expectations. Despite the tearoom not being overly busy, the delivery car seemed to be constantly coming and going, causing us to wait nearly an hour for our main courses to be served. When our dishes finally arrived, we were disappointed. While the chili tasted good, the portion size was extremely small and did not justify the price we paid. The presentation of the dish was also lacking, with the chips looking haphazardly thrown onto the plate with a dollop of chili on top. We have decided not to order this dish again in the future.
