Great place with friendly staff right on the beach. Everybody was very helpful even though they were very busy due to the visitors for the Air Show.

Great little place food always very good Leslie will look after you and on a nice day the views are amazing breakfast is perfect but she will always go out of her way to make it a good experience

Freshly prepared food, gorgeous homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee, perfect. Great choices even for the vegans , great prices, friendly and great banter. Always made to feel welcome, both us and the dogs. Speisekarte ansehen

Very nice cafe, right on the seafront of Holland on sea, our two large rolls(1 x tuna 1 x cheese n ham) were very well filled, a bit of side salad as garnish would have been nice but nonetheless great value, we enjoyed the coffee too.

After a nice walk along the beach towards Frinton, we returned to Flags for a welcome lunch, as they say the cafe is not fast food as everything is freshly prepared. Portions were generous, very good value and delicious. Staff were fabulous, would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.

wonderful experience I had at the dig cafe very good service the team done a Fantastic job grooming my little dog Charlie . Been going here for years, 1 Proper food, good portions good value good all round proper cafe. no micro deconstructed nonsense, 2 Warm welcome, with just the right amount of cheeky banter, Lesley and Roy what a duo.3 Great position away from the busiest parts of the beach and plenty of seating.4 almost forgot the home made cakes, Just a old proper decent cafe.

having quite severe mobility problems I htought I 'd never make it to Flags but a zig zag path was built not far from the café. It took me over half an hour to get down but there are areas at each turn to rest. I had an excellent coffee and the ice cream is the best ever. I haven 't made it since because in bad weather the café doesn 't open (outdoor seating only) and they 're closed on Monday which was the last day I was there with good weather. Just look for the flag flying on the clifftop 'if the flag 's flying, they 're frying ' and a whole lot more!

After dog walk on the beach we went to the Flags Cafe (easily spot able because of the fluttering flags! The menu was good but I opted for the all day breakfast which was reasonably priced.When the food came it was well presented and the quality of the ingredients was far superior to any cafe I have been to before. Excellent sausages and bacon especially.Then had a vanilla ice cream again expecting usual cafe ice cream ..but no absolutely delicious ice cream. On top of that the staff were excellent.Definitely a reason to take the dog back to Holland on sea for a walk. Speisekarte ansehen
