"This experience was awful. I felt like I was eating at mickey mouses clubhouse, we was told upon booking that they was extremely busy so we couldn’t get the time we wanted, however when we arrived we was the only people in there. The food was cheap and nowhere near worth the price they was asking for. The bill was slapped down open infront of me and when we queried the price and why there was extra dishes on the bill. We ordered two steaks rare/medium both was well done. The steak it’s self was straight out of Asdas budget section it was full of gristle. 220g laughable. We was given what seemed to look like a fajita veg mix with our steaks as a side dish which we didn’t order. The kids that was serving us had no supervision and was all over the show. There was no designated server just an influx of kids checking in every two seconds repeatedly. The bill came to £91 with a service charge of 12.5% , when we queried the bill to why there was extra dishes on there they didn’t seem apologetic or tried to resolve the problem, they took £11 pounds of the bill in total for what was overall one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t even think this food would pass as drunk munch"

We ate here last week while staying at the hotel on business. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful in every way. Will definitely return when we're next in the area. Many thanks!

I am never sure of hotel buffet/carvery offerings kind of expect the worst but last Sunday we visited the Grill were very impressed. Lovely ambience the staff were lovely. Food selection was very good we had a very nice time at the right price so hats off to The Marriott.

We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and were impressed by the fantastic variety of food and high quality. The majority of the service is self-serve and we left feeling more than satisfied. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the modern decor and ambiance added to the overall experience.

The food was average but highly priced. The service was extremely slow. When our food finally arrived, we requested extra sauces and mayonnaise, but they were never brought to us. The dessert was so burnt that it was inedible. The waitress cleared the plate without offering any apology. The wine was priced between 25 and 35 pounds per bottle. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant unless you have more money than sense.

Made my daughter feel very special for her birthday. Food was beautifully presented and really tasty. She had sirloin with a mushroom sauce and I had the flat iron chicken. Smokey from the grill and very soft and succulent. We had just a little nibble between us and thank goodness as we were full and well satisfied. Best fries we both tasted in ages. Skin on, seasoned and a good portion. The staff were very attentive Jana particularly and Alison sang Happy Birthday discreetly but affective with a choc brownie. Definitely returning again soon.

The Valentine menu was to be honest not very inspirational so we went for the grill options and a nice bottle of wine. I had the piri piri spatchcock chicken with skinny fries and tenderstem broccoli chilli and garlic; my wife and son had the Full Rack of Ribs one with slaw and sweet potato fries the other with haloumi fries; my daughter had the BB piri piri wings with sweet potato fries. Massive portions, delicious, so much food that we did not have room for dessert, which looked rather nice! Off to bed and an early start for the morning where we fuelled up with breakfast great choice of fresh fruits, cereals, juices, pastries and full cooked with lovely coffee etc.

With all the restrictions over the last months we were looking forward to celebrating 45 years of marriage with a lunch and stay at the Marriot Worsley where we have stayed several times before. We understand the difficulties of operating under Covid rules but were disappointed to be seated in the golf members bar rather than the attractive main restaurant, clearly to limit the spaces required to service customers but with large wall tv and no table cloth it certainly lacked the atmosphere! Our steaks were ok. The champagne was vastly overpriced. but the waiter was very pleasant and doing his best. Our bedroom was ok but tired and ready for a refurbishment. These are tough times for everyone...

We were seated on arrival and ordered a round of drinks, the waitress came over with them and said ‘we’ve ran out of that rum so if you want another one.. well.. you cant’ My partner and I both ordered a medium rare steak and some seasonal veg to go with it, we were brought out what I can only describe as fajita/stirfry mix our steak was very overcooked but a couple of inches of mine was completely raw. We didn’t make a fuss and asked for the bill and the waiter slapped the bill down throwing it on the table infront of my partner saying ‘eres ya bill’ walked off. My partner told them we hadn’t ordered the mixed pepper fajita bowl and when he went up to pay he overheard 2 waiters moaning that...

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
