Both meals from the specials board and highly recommended Waitresses are great, always asking if everything is ok and do we need any sauces etc Top marks to the chefs who make the curry and quiche, thank you Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and good value, log fire in lounge"

The farm house grill was lovely, and only 2 mile away for us, easily the best food within a 8 mile radius

Haven't found a better pub to eat in. We have tried a few and some have come close but we always end up back in the Half Moon at Easington Village.

The best 12oz gammon steak you will ever be served. No other place comes near. I will be back. And if the chef leaves, I will find him and I will kill him.

Me and my sister went for a meal last night and its was beautiful, fab service from all the staff, very friendly , great prices and portion sizes, we will be back lol..

We were staying at the Durham coastal lodge went out for a male at the half moon it was very busy but still fit us in on a Saturday night our meals was value for money very happy we returned on the Sunday for our lunch definitely recommend it x
