"on the first day of the restorations that lift again. they had a band and it was very busy in the evening. I was there first with my friends, where our table we had previously reserved was waiting for us. we went into the bar and ordered drinks and despite the very busy, we were immediately served by the friendly staff. later in the evening, when the band started the pub for more lively and a beautiful atmosphere. my family came to us and we were still all very efficient, even with queues and many people around. I would highly recommend to come here, even if it is only for a fast pop with the dog on a walk. always friendly staff and always good beer and eat!"

Lovely pub, with extremely friendly staff. The beer and food were absolutely spot on, at a fair price. There is a nice big car park too. We will be going there again.

Another great experience. Sausage and mash as usual for me delicious! Great selection of drinks and fabulous prices and all with beautiful views of the river. The team are always friendly, efficient great. Go Team Hanbury!

the personal is brilliant, courteous, friendly and nothing is too much annoying. the service, eating are excellent. would recommend the hanbury arms 100% and more. any where is immaculate bar, toilets, es pane. Thank you all.

we visited the hanbury arms today for Sunday dinner as a family, it was refreshing to book via the phone, where we were kindly accommodated at short notice. the Brat-Rind dinner was delicious and the children's dishes were really good. the staff of the bar were friendly and relaxed and yet efficient. highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal with my partner I had the cowboy burger he had mixed grill both cooked freshly and came quickly. Also had a lovely waitress who served us called Rachel very polite and assisted us with how to pay for parking was very informative and helpful highly recommend this establishment great atmosphere and service.

This is a classic pub and has a castle attached. Located at a beautiful spot on the river with sheep on the other side, this was a great find. Alfred Lord Tennyson was a patron when he visited in 1856. The castle turret is what is left and there is a knight on the top on a horse and holding the flag of Wales. Be sure to walk around the back for a good view of it as it makes for a great photo opportunity. They have cask ales and I had a Doom Bar. The fish and chips was good and served with peas. Definitely a great place for a pint and more.
