"Kind: My new Go-to Café This gem of a café, tucked away down a side street of Looe, is a must-visit if you're in the area! Gone are the days of checking which items are vegan! Craig, the chap who runs the café, is incredibly helpful and welcoming. The menu carries so much variety (and temptation), offering hot meals, healthy salads (except during winter), indulgent sundaes, and hearty desserts! There's even a shelf full of fantastic vegan cookbooks available to read, whilst you're munching some delicious cake! It really is a remarkable little café; one might even say it's...one of a Kind (sorry)"

"really enjoyed. beautiful small restaurant with about 20 places. we wanted fish and the dishes were nice. especially enjoyed the hot spiced crab. Perhaps a small selection of sauces (white wine and cream-based was almost everything) would be better, but understand the restrictions of a small kitchen. dessert was also very nice. Cash-only is a massive pain in these days (has to go to a cash machine for the first time in a year), but that seems to be how they want to run it. the steaks saw amazing btw, something jealous."

"I've eaten a lot of excellent Thai food, but this truly was the best Thai food I've ever eaten. Everything tasted home made, high quality and cooked to perfection. They use local seafood in many of their dishes and it is also a family owned restaurant. Staff were also so happy to answer my questions about the menu. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning!"

"we visited the old sail loft restaurant during our weekend in looe. it is in a very rustic old building, and also had a beautiful outside terrace area. unfortunately it rained during our visit, so we could not enjoy the outside area. we used their 2 course set menu, which was very good for £22 (at the time of writing). the duck parfait was raised and the hake kiew was also very tasty, even a little on the small side. service was also friendly. if they are looking for a delicious meal in a beautiful environment, then the old sail loft restaurant will surely tickle all the boxes in looe."

"Generic pub atmosphere... Wife and I visited Looe and called into what I like to call The Mucky Duck . The lovely woman who served us was also like a tourist information service. She came with dog treats for our little pooch and a bowl of water (but as it wasn 't taken from a muddy puddle, our dog wasn 't interested). The reason for not 5 stars is basically the atmosphere and decor. Modern with different shades of grey. Comfortable seating but nothing really to look around at. Nothing unique and could have been a pub anywhere. Would have been nice to have things that represented the beautiful area. Very clean, bordering sterile, lacking environment."
