Harbour Fish - Speisekarte

Me and my mate were passing through market harbs and decided to try harborough fish bar after searching local chip shops on google. We were very impressed by the portion sizes of the chips as well as the spicy chicken burgers. Will deffo be coming back to this chippy if we are ever passing through the harborough area again! Can’t reccomend these guys enough!

great to see a chippy open on Mondays and lunchtimes great stuff and nice chips by the way. One other great thing is you can park. Market Harborough understand not all people want to save the planet by cycling everywhere risking their lives and frankly wasting it. The journey from my house to this chippy is eight miles about 8 minutes. By bike well, for me , an hour or more. My chips would be very cold by the time i got home. Cheers to using cars wherever possible to keep your chips and pukka pies warm.

Tried Harborough Fish Bar for my first big Friday takeaway since lockdown and I am amazed with the quality of the food as well as the staff and their organisation during thee tough times. The mixed kebab is probably the best I have ever tasted throughout the years and the fish was superb. The young lad outside who was organising the social distancing queue and the telephone orders was so welcoming and made everything simple and straight forward. Will definitely be returning next week for my next fish friday fix.

Recently visited Harborough Fish Bar through a recommendation, and it’s safe to say that this is one of the best chip shops that I have visited. The fantastic staff on shift provided me with a massive portion of chips, which was more than we expected alongside some very well battered fish and sausages. The Chinese curry sauce was to die for, it complemented the rest of the meal perfectly. I will be confidently returning to Harborough Fish Bar with the wife and kids for another outstanding fish and chip experience!!!

We regularly use this local fish and chip shop when we visit my wife's father, but I feel very guilty for having never left a review!!! So this 5-star rating is for the five or six times a year we have a fish and chip lunch, which is ALWAYS EXCELLENT ... wonderful fresh fish every time with a light batter and really tasty chips .... today we had two large cod and a cone of chips and it was easily enough for 3 people and good value at £19 .... and the service is always very friendly (although this time you forgot to put in my batter bits :-D)

Has been since i can remember, and will be forever my local. Best chipshop in Leicestershire, and the competition is not close. The portion sizes are so big, I could eat on the Friday and be full to the Sunday! The chips are second to none, the battered COD is nothing short of remarkable, and my personal favorite is the Chicken meat... words can not do it justice, you have to try them. Staff always friendly, helpful, and can't do enough for you. Always have a good laugh with them when they're in there. Super quick service, amazing food, and friendly staff for cheap prices... I have lived in Market Harborough for the best part of 15 years, and some how I have never been to Harborough Fish Bar before! But let me say, I will be returning weekly now! Me and a few friends decided to give the fish bar a try one Friday, and I've not stopped thinking about it since! The fish was absolutely incredible, and the chips haven't left my mind since i've had them. The food aside, the customer service provided by the staff was second to none. They were all really friendly, had great banter, and seemed to represent a close knit bunch of staff that is refreshing to see. I must say, I've found my new local comfort takeaway. I’m not usually one for using review websites, but on this occasion I have decided to make an account in order to let everyone at Harborough Fish Bar know how amazing my experience was!!! I decided to try Harborough Fish Bar after cutting through the southern estate on my way home from work and I have never been more impressed by a simple portion of fish and chips. The batter on the fish was perfection, light and crispy. A regular chips was enough to feed a whole family, let alone 1 person!!! Went here after a hospital appointment after seeing that is scored high across a wide range of views from people. Staff were decent polite and engaging no complaints here. Drink selection I expect a proper chippy to a decent selection of drinks instead I had to go to the corner shop to get some old skool pop cream soda in this instance. The food was cooked fresh to order but the chips being new potatoes could have done with a longer fry instead they came out soggy greasy and mushy not what I expect from a 4.6 rating chips were a 2.3 T best and that is only due to the generous amount.
