"Visited Saturday 15th June, shown quickly to a table and ordered sandwiches which were lovely. After eating sandwiches we decided to move outside, I asked waitress if we could order tea and americano and have it outside as sun was out, she took order. After 20mins I asked again, there seemed to be confusion with us moving outside wirh different table number, she said that it was on its way, after another 15mins asked another waitress who was outside serving, eventually got out tea and coffee after 40mins. I was tempted to either just leave or make it myself. The waitress staff were all very nice, although I got a filter coffee instead of an Americano. Went to pay and mentioned to Mature lady on till about delay and wrong coffee and she replied at least filter is cheaper . Not right answer at all, probably won 't return as found this reply from lady on till very rude, maybe if she had even said sorry about mix up. The waiting staff are all very lovely."

Great cafe/restaurant with adjoining gift shop and garden centre. Breakfast menu is my favourite. Attached photo is taken from outside dining area, looking over Strangford Lough. Also view from inside overlooking the lough with Mourne mountains in the distance Speisekarte ansehen

Disappointing visit today to Harrison’s. On arrival it was very busy last day of school so alot of folk there for lunch. However, our lunch lacked in flavour and taste. It was very disappointing. And I do think £17 for an open salad with a handful of chips (which were inedible) is too expensive.

First time at Harrison’s and it was a wonderful experience. Ordered the farmers breakfast and a build you own fry, quantity and quality very good, we were seated at the window, view from Scrabo Tower to the Mourne mountains was stunning. The staff are the happiest and friendliest we have ever met and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend Harrison’s Restaurant.

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
