"We visit Fowey 2 to 3 times a year, usually for 3 weeks at a time and Haveners or always our first and last port of call. This last trip, which spanned late September to mid October, was no exception, but aside from the many drinks consumed in the lovely bar, we also had several gorgeous meals (two lunches and a few dinners) every single one was delicious and beautifully presented. The food has always been good, but this time it was excellent, and why we kept coming back for more! As for the bar and restaurant overall, the ambience is perfect, the views lovely (even after dark, it's quite magical) and the staff are warm and friendly but also extremely professional. We're back in December and already booked in for our first meal. No doubt it won't be our last!"

Came here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both meals were excellent. One lady who served us was brilliant. Lovely wine food and dog friendly.

Another great meal, fully recommend the roasts they are very yummy and filling. Have never had a bad meal at Haveners. Great service, friendly staff, amazing views.

Staff friendly and welcoming. The food was great. Clean and pleasant surroundings. We even managed to get a harbour view. Not a great selection of local bears and ales, but didn’t spoil our visit. Recommend.

We were very impressed with the food there's always a nice atmosphere in Haveners. The staff are very friendly helpful. Our table server, Laura was especially accommodating, cheerful patient. As a Vegan I'd like to see more choices on the menu.

We had a lovely family Sunday dinner at this well located pub, right on the estuary. The food was very good with generous portions and a wide selection. Top marks to the Team who served us they provided excellent service which enhanced our enjoyment of the occasion, we hope to return before we depart this week.

Sensational! Stayed in Fowey Hall and fancied eating out. We went early at 6.30pm and they managed to seat us. Atmosphere is perfect and relaxed. Staff great. Food is just unbelievable: the fish and chips was probably the best we have ever had. Fish amazing as were the burgers. We went two nights in a row. 10/10, highly recommend a visit. Would suit all.

Booked dinner for a large party of us. Service was spot on from the minute we walked through the door, professional and smiley. Table seating arrangement/decor was lovely. Most of the party had a roast, which was superb! Piping hot, plenty of vegetables, beautifully tender meat, what’s not to like. Definitely a 5* visit. As Arnie says ‘we will be back’! We'd booked a Sunday evening meal while in Fowey. No roast dinner in the evening, but everything else was available. The pie was excellent! Friendly service throughout, and we decided to book again later in the week. Great food and service again. Probably because it was a quiet time of year and not many people were about, but my only complaint was it was quite cold in there!

Lady serving us outside was very friendly and was happy to seat us outside one evening. It was no problem just to order wine and desserts. Straining our memory banks we had a sundae or shared one. It was very nice and fun as you watch the seagulls walk about on the roof of the canopy. Close to the water you can see boats sail on by. Would recommend 100% even if it was just for a drink outside
