Hayden's Coffee Shop

A nice breakfast in the back room with a wonderful view. Food was really nice, well cooked and nicely presented Would have returned more but the restaurant had limited opening times at the time of our visit

We walked in and were seated quickly, which was nice, and the waiter was pleasant. But the service was incredibly slow and the food very disappointing when it arrived, particularly for the price. Do not recommend.

Had a lovely brunch with my boyfriend, food was fantastic. Lotty was lovely and helpful, the older lady seemed a bit brash with us and didn’t seem as friendly which was a shame as did ruin the experience a bit. The view was beautiful Speisekarte ansehen

We just stopped for a cup of tea, coffe a piece of cake. I’m gluten-free and got the gf lemon cake and it was one of the best I’ve ever had super tangy with lots of lemon absolutely delicious. Didn’t realize it, but they looks like they do B B as well, (i’d imagine parking would be a problem because it’s right in the middle of town but I don’t know)

We used to go to Haydens quite regularly before Covid. This was our first visit since those dark days and I am very pleased to say that Haydens is still just as great. There's an excellent choice on the menu. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is well presented and delicious and it is very good value for money. What more could you want?

We have visited often when visiting Rye and tea, coffee and cakes are always delicious. Visited Rye over Easter and treated ourselves to breakfast at Hayden’s. The light breakfast was delicious and so was the Cheddar Eggs (lovely cheese scones served topped with poached eggs, grated cheese and accompanied by two delicious sausages). Thoroughly recommended. We try to go to Rye once a year and always stay at Haydens, we have never been disappointed. The Sandpiper Room at the top is absolutely beautiful spacious, quiet with glorious views over Romney Marsh. The staff are very accommodating: a big shoutout and thank you to Corey who is wonderfully welcoming with nothing ever being too much trouble he really goes the extra mile! We felt thoroughly refreshed by our stay exactly what you would wish for on a short break.

Stayed at Hayden’s for the August Bank Holiday weekend after reading reviews. loved my first experience of Rye but Hayden’s made the stay more memorable. I can not fault anything from the room we had, little finishing touches, breakfast, the staff, all so helpful and take pride in what they do and the service they deliver. I’ve passed on details to lots of people who have asked me, so if you are looking to stay in Rye, Hayden’s is the place. Thank you again for a memorable experience. Above but I can only give sadly.

I previously wrote a review that was taken down for 'profanity' when all I said was that one of the servers seemed very unhappy. As someone who works in hospitality and is a young person, I understand how the industry operates. It's not difficult to put on a smile even when you're not in the best mood. The food was average and nothing special despite being advertised as such on the menu. Overall, our experience at Hayden's could have been enjoyable, but the poor service and overpriced, mediocre food left us disappointed. We did not try the breakfast/brunch options or cake, so they may have been better. This is simply constructive criticism and not meant to offend anyone. It is just my opinio... Speisekarte ansehen
