"Lovely authentic Spanish restaurant but we will not be returning. Started badly when we ordered 2 Crianzas but received 2 very sweet red wines in very small glasses. The shared starter of Ronda Morcilla was quite nice but the main courses were awful. Both were served with very greasy Patatas Pobre which were cold. My “solomillo” was as tough as old boots and my wife’s salmon was much too dry. However, the coffees were excellent. Food quality will need to improve for us to return here."

the truth that you are not telling the truth because the eyebrows are a charming and polite uncle, I recommend everything but especially their rice with milk, but you do not know what the total extasis is in the gastronomy.

Forget the hype else where and yes stunning drinks on the roof terrace opposite the bull ring . We had 20 Euro menu del dia. Stunning! Pre order de la cass del dia. chicken liver pate. We had succulent black pudding in an amazing red wine sauce. Followed by a huge plate of pork cheeks- not dry at all and a house crema Catalana. Highly recommend for authentic Spanish food without the hype

We ate on October all the restaurants were full . this restaurant had an average valuation. but we have eaten very well. everything is correct. we ask the letter risoto of bull rabbi, croquettes, scrambled eggs, carrillada , bull rabbi . all very well. to repeat if we return to round. It is not advisable to listen to google reviews always. the attention very nice and professional . the cozy restaurant. juan the nice owner.

"Everything Harry says in his review is largely on the money: And don 't just take his and my word for it: This restaurant has about 800 ! reviews on Tripadvisor, almost all of them hugely positive. Who knows why Yelpers have stayed away, except that they 're apparently ig 'nant? Tropicana is off the beaten tourist path, it offers excellent value for your euro, and the service was phenomenal. The restaurant 's in a storefront in about a mile down the Ave. Málaga from the Plaza de España area, in a modern residential area, so it is somewhat out of the way for tourists. For us, getting there was a pleasant 20-minute walk on a beautiful evening. It 's been quite awhile since we there, but I do remember that the food was excellent, expertly prepared and creative. We shared a perfectly crispy fried spring roll of sorts filled with robustly-flavored braised oxtail that was seriously delicious , wonderful marinated anchovies, and morcilla served over nicely fried potatoes and topped with a poached egg, and a pickled padrón? pepper onions. For an entree, I had an octopus arm that was about as big as a baby 's forearm and that sold for only 16 euro great value! ; can 't really remember the accompaniments there, but the cephalopod was very nicely grilled. All of this stuff was terrific and robustly flavorful. My only complaint--and maybe part of the blame should be attributed to our ordering--was that everything was cumulative extremely rich--very heavy, with some items doused with perhaps a bit too much olive oil. Our server, who was the son of the chef, was as good as he could be. He spoke superb English didn 't even give us a chance to work on our Spanish, which had improved a bit by this late point in the trip! , took pains to guide us through the menu, and was just great all-around at his job. Decor-and-ambience wise, Tropicana is a bit of a puzzle. Obviously, the name suggests a Latin-American vibe, and aqua-ish color scheme, smooth surfaces, and clean-lines did, too. It almost seems like a Miami -themed restaurant, but then the food seems much more Spanish/European. Either way, it 's comfortable and sharp-looking enough."
