High Corner Inn - Speisekarte

A brilliant pub the only problem there is no covered smoking area, but they do provide umbrella. The food was amazing Service: 5 Location: 5

We had a fantastic dining experience at the High Corner Inn. Although the meal was a bit pricey, we all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and the beautiful location. Our rating for the service was 4 out of 5, and for the location, a perfect 5 out of 5.

Walked here on a walk through the forest, excellent location. Lovely beer garden and building. Very friendly but a bit slow service (we got there early so wasn’t busy) was going to have 2 or 3 drinks, they were nice but at £17.50 for double vodka and an ale we decided to walk back after one. Had lunch here. Absolutely brilliant meal. Had the Pork belly Roast, followed by the biscoff donuts (possibly the best donuts we have ever had! . Service was genuinely brilliant, staff super friendly and attentive. Made to feel extremely welcome with a dog! Some great walks from the pub. Will 100% be coming back! Service: 5 Location: 5

Booked overnight stay for NYE to limit amount of firework noise for my dog who is petrified of them. Perfect location, great value for money. Food was amazing , complments to the chef, had Sunday roast in the evening and then the most amazing full English and veggie breakfast very tasty. You could hear the other guests saying how delicous the breakfast was Will definitely return Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I think being sat in the bar area to eat meant we were left and a little forgotten when it came to service, as we were asked on a couple of occasions if we'd like drinks or dessert, but staff didn't come back so were left to order our own at the bar. Food drinks: Great food. Service needs a little attention. Staff asking if you like drinks/ desserts, but didn't come back to take our orders, so we went to the bar ourselves. Fantastic place food fantastic rooms are stunning but wifi is absolutely awful and be aware that you will have trouble watching television as iternet is terrible and no evening entertainment or food on years day or next evening disappointing if raining no bar on new years eve really should of been told before arriving Noteworthy details: No wifi in rooms and no telly as no wifi only netflix if someone can put thete code in lucky for us someone helped us so new years day from 4pm we sat in our room with just a radio Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

We had breakfast on New Year’s Day .. it was fab ! We live 5 miles away and haven’t been to the pub for years it was a treat . The portion and quality of the food was Excellant to the point that I had to find the chef to say well done and thank you ! The guys out front were so friendly and helpful . The quality of the renovation since I assume being taken over by butcombe of a high standard I have since joined the loyalty scheme and will return . Really disappointed with our experience today, granted it was busy but having prebooked, we had to find someone to order food after waiting over an hour, then the food arrives missing parsnips on some plates for roast, also missing stuffing amongst other things, no one came over, so we just got on with it, then found someone and asked for a pudding menu that never arrived, so we ordered at the bar and they had by that time run out of the puddings we wanted, which we only found out after we paid, so they had to refund and then process payment again minus puddings. All of this aside, what really let it down was the service, we are used to excellent service here but lately it has not been good... Speisekarte ansehen
