Hitchin Cafe - Speisekarte

A long run to Hitchin to collect my car following a night out with friends. Popped in to grab a bacon sandwich and a tea. Lovely!!

Quick, inexpensive and good breakfast food. I had and omelet the others in our group had the traditional English breakfast. We were not disappointed.

Best cafe in Hitchin. Staff are courteous and so efficient. Food wholesome and tasty. Spottles inside. Great prices. 4get the rest. This is the best.Paul

Since February/ pre covid. We like to support local independent businesses so chose here. I so missed a decent cup of coffee!! We enjoyed our lunch and we were the only customers on 4 July so very socially distanced !

I visited this cafe for lunch, Really lovely food, and spotlessly clean, The staff are so very friendly, and the service is fast. I used the toilet whilst I was there, it was so clean also. Worth a visit I would strongly recommend. 5 stars

Elite cafe. Beside Sainsbury's in hitchin.clean friendly and good value for money. Very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Food is good value and piping hot. Light and airy cafe with outside seating. Look forward to ice creams on a hot afternoon.

Sauntering in the old and almost sleepy town of Hitchin, very close to the town center on the Hermitage Road was the buzzing café at Hitchin. Had a quick Latte at the café – service was prompt and quick and coffee was like it was – great. Setting was great and ambient was nice and bright. The menu was interesting with quirky quotes for the patrons. It was great coffee at Hitchin Cafe.

Excellent value. Came in here for a late breakfast and everything from their very varied menu was on offer. Had poached egg on toast but would have pushed the boat out more had we not been going out for lunch later. Very friendly service and no frills. Just right. Lots of interesting pictures of old Hitchin on the walls. It’s right in the centre. Wheelchair access very good but didn’t check the loos. Next time I’ll do the Full English and skip lunch..!

My wife I landed on an early flight LHR from America, and headed north to Hertfordshire where we shopped bided our time before our first hotel check-in. We were looking for a light lunch during our stop in Hitchin, and came across the Hitchin Cafe on Hermitage Road. The cafe space was simple clean, the service was friendly, the menu variety would suit most tastes; I had my first serving of Coronation Chicken, with just the right amount of curry powder. Both of our small meals were fresh tasty. Nothing fancy, but a very good option for a satisfying lunch.
