"Fantastic pub for a lunch alongside a canal. We actually parked up in Berkhamstead and walked along the canal (50 min walk) otherwise just use the car park. Decent enough selection and I can vouch the classic burger was very good."

"an amazing little place. the tapas was delicious and the wine was amazing! the staff was great, very friendly and courteous! I would highly recommend this little place! the wine merchant was very helpful and knowledgeable about all who they had! to the point known that he was not too pushy or overlaid! loves the idea that you can browse and buy what you like when we are weeping. we went away with 2 bottles of red that we cannot wait to try! would really recommend this place! Service was great, ambience was nice, we had hoped to be seated in the back room which is really pretty. Highly recommend this place and I’ll be returning very soon. "We had ordered from this place on ubereats and been pleasantly surprised, so when we found ourselves in the area we thought we'd try the eat in experience. The service was friendly and timely. However, a couple of hours after eating a chicken roast dinner, I started to get the chicken repeating on me. By the time I went to bed I felt quite ill from it. Sure enough, I was awoken in the early hours to deal with the consequences of their poor food preparation skills. We shall never order there again and I would strongly recommend that nobody else takes the chance either!"
