at the moment there is no better place in Trieste. the words are useless, there you go to closed eyes.

“With Tears in my Eyes” . It’s a song reference, but to me it was happening while eating in this restaurant. Tears for joy to be exact.. Both dishes were incredible!! And a very cosy and family kind of atmosphere. Must try once :

The main point is the location: very quiet and out of the crowd but still very central and close to the buzz. You can eat outside in summer. The portions are “nouvelle cuisine”-like and our staters were very good when the pasta were average. Wine so bad and the check was brutal. Not sure I would recommend it.

I had a quick lunch with my wife at this place. the menu seemed rather reduced, however soddifacente in the variety. eaten outside in the garden in front, a first (I) pasta with ragù di anatra, very good and the snails (my wife) to his said good, two very good desserts the millefoglie and the strudel, glasses of chardonnay (I don't know of which wine) and two coffees for an account of e. I would like to go back in a few weeks to dinner, but I noticed that the interior space is really minimal and all busy with various wine boxes.
