"In una Lucignano dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante. Lo chef, anche padrone di casa, gentile e disponibile ci ha preparato un delizioso crostoni con pomodoro fresco e pinoli, tortelli con ripieno di chianina, tartufo e formaggio pecorino, carciofi fritti e fagioli stufati con semi di finocchio. Tutto buonissimo, cucinato al momento. Ottima esperienza."

"This was one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant. The food was exceptional and the outstandingly low prices made it an evening not to be forgotten! We had Ostematto, a mix of all the appetisers, to start. Then wonderful handmade pici, followed by slices of beefsteak fillet cooked as ordered. We finished with some amazing desserts including a perfect chocolate soufflé. The house wine is a sturdy local Chianti. Very good coffee. The bill was very, very low for what we had and was great value for the money. The restaurant is a combination of very modern and retro design in a beautiful building with unplastered brick walls. It is very comfortable and has a great atmosphere. The staff deserve special praise very prompt and courteous. They told us the restaurant is new but if it continues like this it will get a Michelin star pretty soon it serves VERY good food! The restaurant is just off the main street in Monte San Savino, but badly needs signage; we nearly missed it even though the village is very small!"

"Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria. Ribollita fantastica,profumata e saporita e pici col ragù bianco di cinta senese, altrettanto piena di sapore ma delicata La tagliata ottima con contorno spinaci e patate fritte, croccanti fuori e morbide dentto. Una vera delizia casareccia Il servizio è veloce e ben curato.Alla fine della cena abbiamo salutato il proprietariocon la promessa di rivederci."

"a little by chance in an evening of a very hot summer we came across in this restaurant which is actually also a hotel. Large outdoor space even if not well-kept and various internal locations. Service concerned but not competent and sub-numbered. Varied menu with excellent Tuscan dishes. Well indeed more than well the appetizer, to choose appetizer boxes that is really superlative. Very well Florentine steak of extreme quality that we have taken with truffle even if the price is a little over the average. Very bad fruit.... that has embarrassed me for the total absence of quality and how it was presented. The property does not have its own parking but practically in front there is a huge beach where you can park quietly. The service is quick even if it is for the position and also because some dishes are really superlative there is good turnout. Overall I promote it even though some serious deficiencies make it drop from various points in my personal scale. To improve prices, staff, organization and fruit desserts that are a bit lacking. To be promoted to full appetizer votes and meat really top."
