Pietanze di eccellente qualità, ottima la cortesia...ma volendo fare una critica costruttiva, un ristorante di questo livello, non dovrebbe servire con piatti sbeccati. Ci torneremo senz'altro, un saluto

The stunning view from the terrace sets the scene for a wonderful non touristy dining experience. Friendly and attentive staff ensured from start to finish, a meal to remember. Would happily eat there again and look forward to the next occasion. Avoid the clip joints and go straight to La Rocca!!!

cucina tipica toscana con diverse specialità al tartufo. della Toscana prende le cose più preziose con porzioni abbondanti e squisite. tutto rigorosamente preparato dallo chef. davvero un ottimo posto per stare con gli amici o in compagnia dolce. in estate l'ooo della terrazza, che con il progresso della serata garantisce un'atmosfera molto intima, rende l'esperienza ancora più piacevole e perfetta per una cena romantica.

Location splendida, non siamo toscani ma ci è stata consigliata da ogni abitante che abbiamo incontrato in questo splendido borgo. Cibo eccezionale, consiglio di provare le carni e i formaggi, servizio lento ma che ti permette di gustare tutte le portate con la massima calma. Piatti abbondanti e presente anche un menù per gli intolleranti al glutine. Prezzi commisurati alla qualità del cibo: tre primi, due antipasti e tre caffè 80€

I would have expected more to be fair. The food was a little bit pricey and the quality rather average. The meat was covered with too much oil and spices, but the tartare was amazing. The staff was professional but not friendly. They only mentioned that some dishes were not available right before taking the order, so this was not polite on their side. Also, they forgot some of the side dishes and only brought them when the dinner was over. At least they did not made us pay for this. The dinner entree main course wine was 35€ total each.

Ottimi primi, tra cui il ragù d'anatra e il ravioli cacio e pepe con tartufo, davvero fresco e saporito, a differenza di altri posti in cui quasi non si sente. Il mio compagno ha anche preso il maiale che a suo detta si tagliava con la forchetta. Uniche pecche: calici di prosecco sgasato e acidino, patate arrosto non croccanti e fiori di zucca un po' oleosi. Piccoli dettagli che si fanno notare quando si spende una cinquantina di euro a testa, ma che sono stati controbilanciati dalla piacevolezza complessiva dell'esperienza. Since we travel a lot we visit a lot of restaurants, and this is one of the best we 've had the pleasure of visiting. It 's in a very old but beautifully restored building in Lucignano, Tuscany with rough-hewn beams on the ceiling and antique photos and artifacts decorating the rough stone and gleaming white plaster walls, while the white tablecloths, china, glasses and cutlery are modern and spotless. The chef/owner, Marcello Varignani, is cheerful and friendly and the food is superb. We were taken there by a friend who has a villa near Lucignano and so we had a full Italian-style dinner: appetizers, first course pasta dishes, second course meat dishes, and dessert, followed by coffee, and...
