From start to finish the service was efficient attentive yet discreet. Well organized. the food was delightful.The combinations of tastes had been well thought out and well presented. very good value for money. alterations to the menu were made without fuss to accommodate one of our party who is a fussy difficult to please diner. on this occasion was well satisfied Good selection of wines and not overpriced. a restaurant that is well worth visiting

Stayed one night in a twinbedded room with my son and ate in the restaurant. I should have turned and left the hotel when I saw this large white hairy dog wandering around reception. In fairness, it does say dog friendly or dogs welcome on the website but the dining room smelt of dog and we had already checked in. The staff were just about OK but not a lot of smiling from them. The room was tiny and the advertised Wi fi was non existent. Only in reception was it adequate. I mentioned this to reception on checking out. I was told that was how it was hopeless in the bedrooms.
