We went in off season, service was ok, food was ok, but not great, it just did the work, selection of restaurants with decent lunch menu limited in town, maybe not surprisingly from season

It was very cosy and the staff very good. They all come out and introduced themselves so we had high hopes but I am afraid the food was disappointing, Very average Schnitzel. Poor chips and disappointing side salad.

Normalerweise machen wir dies zu unserem letzten Stopp des Tages, wenn wir nach dem Abendessen im Dorf spazieren gehen. Sehr angenehme Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter. Heiße Schokolade begleitet von einem Drambuie, um den Abend abzurunden.

We were not residents but came in off the street and were ushered into their cosy restaurant in the back room- see other reviewers photos. Great meal, good range of food and great service ....but order the fondue of the morning when you want to go! We ate baked Camembert, mushroom gnocchi, steak with onions, and a Weiner schnitzel. Bravo an Toni und das neue Management, das dieses Café und Hotel in Rekordzeit geschaffen und eröffnet hat! Meine Frau und ich haben unser Frühstück genossen, den Hafermehl und das kleine Frühstücksmousse. Ich habe auch das Gourmet-Frühstück mit dem Käse- und "Wurst"-Gericht probiert! Wir hatten auch ein tolles Abendessen. Mein Freund aus Australien hat die 2 Nächte im Hotel, den Pool, die Lage und die Gastfreundschaft genossen. Viele Dinge können Sie von dort aus unternehmen, ein sehr schöner Start! Weiter so, Ihre Kreativität und Managementfähigkeiten werden Ihren Erfolg vorantreiben.

Ein altes, traditionelles Hotel mit gutem Essen, tollem Frühstück, einem 5-Gänge-Menü am Abend und sehr aufmerksamen Kellnern. Wir hatten ein gutes, geräumiges und komfortables Zimmer mit Bad/Dusche, Balkon und einem kleinen Tisch und Stühlen. Das Zimmer war großartig für Skifahrer, da es viele Haken, Schubladen, Schränke und Kleiderschränke gab. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und sprachen sehr gut Englisch (ein Muss für mich, da mein Deutsch zu wünschen übrig lässt). Die Bar im Erdgeschoss ist eine tolle Entdeckung, da es sich um eine Nichtraucherbar handelt (ungewöhnlich in Österreich).

Kürzlich mit 6 Personen zum Abendessen besucht. Hochwertiges Essen, schöne Atmosphäre. Der Service in Bezug auf Allergien war okay (Zwiebeln und Nüsse), nicht so hilfreich wie in anderen Restaurants in der Stadt, insbesondere für glutenfreies Essen, obwohl die österreichische Standard war. Die Rippen waren riesig und sehr lecker. Jeder hatte ein gutes Essen, also würde ich nicht sagen, dass man nicht hingehen sollte. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass wir nach dem Essen einfach nicht bedient werden konnten, um Kaffee/Getränke zu bestellen. Der Kellner verschwand und als er wieder auftauchte, warteten auch 3 andere Tische auf ihn.

Jakobwirt was not only known for her good food, but also for warm family atmosphere. The food is still good, but the atmosphere is gone. On Christmas Eve there was a cold reception and we had to wait in the lobby as the reserved table was not ready. The despair of some drinks was not possible because no one was at home. After 25 minutes we asked if the table was ready and suddenly it was. Very brightly illuminated part of the restaurant, no x-mas atmosphere. The courses were served in a short time without explaining what it was. felt as fast as possible. We had to ask if we could have more drinks. We stayed here a week after Christmas. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were good, offering cereals, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, yogurts and various types of ham, cheese and breads. and substantial for a day's skiing. They pride themselves in their five course dinner each night, in the morning you pick your main course, but the soup was flavoured water with a layer of grease, the salads were tomatoes and lettuce and the cheapest, though very nice wine, was €23! They have a swimming pool but I didn't try it out. One disadvantage is that it doesn't have a proper bar in the hotel which means that we ended up going to other hotels which were buzzing.
