Lovely lunch after a day trip to Beynac! Excellent food and beer, with friendly and attentive service throughout, and good value Very enjoyable experience!

The new management is great! We really enjoyed the food, pool, drinks and overall hospitality of the place. It is in a great location, moments away from the castle and good food.

Wife's meal was OK ish mine terrible ate half an omelet , and sent the rest back far to salty , told this is how they cook it . See how they feel tomorrow when I tell them " This is how I pay for it ".

Hotel Restaurant du Chateau - Beynac is clean, chic and comparatively inexpensive with abundant portions and excellent service. The eatery is at the intersection of the entry road to the XII century Chateau Feodal and the river road. Free parking is kitty-corner in the municipal lot. For under 15€ you can eat your your brains out here on white tablecloths. The beef steak with fries

We stayed in Beynac on a tour of the area.... This hotel restaurant is on the river..The waiters cross the road to the terrace to serve the most delicious food. The meal we had was very good. €22 for a starter and a main. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter spoke English and was very helpful and chatting. Unfortunately, my husband left a bag at the table with my souvenirs!

If you are after thick, fat pork, this is the place for you! My oldest daughter ordered the broschetta from pork with cheese potatoes. It consists essentially of the largest plate of pork fat I put eyes. There was a meat scrap on the bottom, the potatoes were layered in cheese and onions and in fairness, were fine, but the rest was shockingly bad. The Cassoulet was fine; but from tin an effort to update it a bit would have been helpful. Every port in a storm as they say.

We were 5 for lunch and were eventually settled at a table inside after staff argued amongst themselves about where to sit us. The carafe water contained white filaments and the waitress was reluctant to change it and our glasses. Food was ok. A further staff argument happened when more customers arrived, these were sat at uncleared table for more than 40 min without even giving them a menu or offering them a drink. This place is better avoided if you want a relaxing time!

We, 2 adults and 2 kids, were there for lunch. Already when we ordered we should have known that this was a tourist trap, so unprofessional was the service. We ordered the lunch menu: The Salade des pêcheurs was hardly edible. The smoked fish was way to salty. Then we had to wait for another 25 minutes until, after our request, the first children's menu arrived: soggy fries and a piece of unrecognizable fish that was supposedly deep fried. When we complained about the fries we didn't get an apology but were accused of not being able to recognize the quality of those allegedly home made fries. And if we wanted something else we were obviously accustomed to McCain or MacDonald's fries. We left...

An excellent last meal for our 3 weeks en France. Booked in the last minute and offered a choice of a table either over the street overlooking the river or next to the hotel. We chose the former. We chose from the set...menu and had oeuff croquant (excuse the spelling) and foie gras followed by the best confit we had in three weeks. 15j son had the piece de beouf. A Demi Picher from red and a few pints juplier. The desert was the best of the holiday.
