we landed late staff was fantastically booked us in no problems and kept the restaurant open for us eating was really nice and bottle champagne went well one in the restaurant and one in the room they gave us an ice cream. eimer to keep the champagne cool and they were also not worried about us paying for eating before we are back room we stayed night and found it a really pleasant place to stay and safe parking. The Maitre'D was very helpful in explaining the menu du jour which we...always opt for as a baseline for comparing the budget lunch options at local restaurants. Absolutely agree with the reviewer who described the hotel as soulless. The good things: location, mins walk from the centre, plenty of parking, spotlessly clean, decent breakfast, reasonable price, The beds were comfortable and it has what you need for a night or two...but the rooms are as stark as they appear on the website. There is no one on reception and one has the feeling that the restaurant is what's important. Reporting to the barman that the basin tap wasn't working properly had no effect. We didn't eat in the restaurant. We had room on the ground floor of the adjoining annexe, with a wet room apparently designed for disabled people. I suspect a disabled person would find it as inc...
