"I am originally india and after I disappointed by many faked so called frozen Indian restaurant, I thought it was hard to find authentic Indian restaurant in london, but after trying their food once I guess I tried all the items in the menu. eating is very authentic in an open kitchen cooked under their open minds when they want while being made on a masala chai with 5 different crumbs. the personal is really friendly and the cook baloo is a really nice person that offers free eating for homeless people with smiles. After I had seen that I never went to another Indian restaurant to try out eating and try to go there as often as possible and recommend it to my kumpels as I can not go there every day, but at least by I can help others to grow and get some good karma possibly as he shares his profit with poor people. it's hard to find easy to earth person. please check out this place and help him to help other insulting people as well as namaste all"

the sagwala is amazing, highly recommended. baloo (the owner) is beautiful. really recommend this place for delicious vegan / vegetarian curry.

A little gem in Deptford. Truly amazing, yummy, tasty vegetarian and vegan food. So much choice and all dishes can be made vegan, justcask when ordering. Staff super friendly and good prices.

I had the tikka masala tofu/veg, another curry with spinach and ginger, pilau rice, garlic naan and peshwari naan. The food was amazing, and you HAVE to try the peshwari naan! Oh my goddess fresh out of the oven, filled with fragrant coconut and raisins, it was out of this world good! And the chef, Harry, had us try his newest invention a mango lime coriander sauce that was just fantastic..
