We love this pub so much, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great! I always recommend the anchor to my friends and family. See you all again soon!

Great atmosphere very friendly staff and happy to assist with dietary requirements. Food came out hot and was very tasty. Will definitely be back very soon best thing I didn't need to leave the fur baby at home

Really great service, felt very welcomed considering how busy they were when I went I wasn't waiting for long atall to be served which was nice and refreshing. and the fresh ice water on the bar accompanies the waiting time Speisekarte ansehen

Such a lovely atmosphere in this pub! All staff were soo lovely and helpful. LOVE the fact this pub is dog friendly and will defo be coming back and sharing this gem with all!! Thank you for such a good service and lovely food.

Went to the anchor for a meal with friends .was disappointed. Food arrived no knives and forks .Order 3 Sunday roasts very small portions .payed extra for pigs in blanket only got one .other person order burger and chips had to send it back as was cold .

I visited last week with my family and was really impressed with this pub. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Let down by lack of information,after ordering drinks and returning to table to see menu,ready to order.We both wanted scampi but on placing order were told there were no scampi or any fish dishes available,no explanation given. This problem was reported on tripavisor 4 weeks ago. MUST DO BETTER.

We had been travelling for 3 hours visiting family over Christmas and just needed to stop for a drink and a stretch. We ended up in The Anchor and what a lovely, friendly, warm pub it is. We hadn't intended to eat but it smelled so good, and tasted good too. Thank you for an unexpected lovely afternoon.

We booked a table for 1pm, we were a little late but this didn't seem a problem, we also had one extra person which was also not a problem. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We didn't wait too long for the food and it can out hot. The streak was perfectly cooked for my taste,, everyone else on our table were very happy with their food. All in all it was a good experience, good food, good service and a good atmosphere. Will definitely keep going. Speisekarte ansehen
