Good choice menu. Reasonably priced. Poor light at tsble to read menus. 1 of ourparty had to send back her steak which also had lots of grizzle. ChEap and Reasonably cheerful!

I ordered a child's pizza flatbread and chips which write seperate. The pizza was very poor and clearly microwaved. The salad was covered in dressing and the chips were cheap oven chips. The service is poor. Not going back

Fab family lunch, meals arrived promptly and hot, the kids ate everything bar the pattern on the plate and had 3 courses as well. Amazing value for money and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Visited here once before for drinks in the summer which was lovely and tonight for a quick fly by dinner greeted by Debbie. The service was exceptionally good, food tasted fresh and hot considering how busy it had been throughout the day. (Southern fried chicken burger, buy one get one free Friday) You can tell the quality is nice as a lot of people were eating different items. Will definatly visit again to work through the menu and recommend.

Went to We Waif for brunch , very surprised, large menu , very reasonable prices . We all ordered different items , and very soon items appeared . I had the all English brunch , outstanding , all item freshly cooked very nice , plus chips on the side with chick in wings , very good the others had the mushrooms very tastier, and rgevother had the lasagne, nice a fresh , salad on the side , with cheese chips. For a cheap eats restaurant I could not fault any thing , ps asked for a week latta, and was brought out extra hot milk if it was to strong . Very nice experience, we be back soon 5 star

Had a table booked to meet my sister and family on Saturday. My friend and I arrived first, and located our booked table. Was a little cramped for the six of us. Before I could search for another, a member of staff arrived and said she would move us to a sitting at the back of the restaurant area. Sister and family arrived and there was plenty of room. Was karaoke night in the bar at the front, so it was quite a busy evening in the pub. All of us enjoyed our main courses. We were booked for two nights at the Wee Waif. The room was very disappointing and unwelcoming. There was one hand-towel and two bath towels for two people. There should have been six hangers but we only had five We asked reception for another hand towel and another hanger and the receptionist was very helpful and provided both. The headboard was damaged and peeling. There was a net curtain over the window that barely reached each end and drooped in the middle. Bearing in mind that we were on the ground floor, backing on to the petrol station which closes at midnight and opens at 5 a.m. we were not very happy.
