"My wife is Sicilian and we were in Acitrezza woth our son. we stopped for a quick lunch just ordering starters (Antipasti). we waited for over 1 hour for the food to arrive and when it did it was very dissapointing. We had the hot camembert, which whist we acknowledge is not traditional came out as a tiny portion so drenched in butter it was hard to eat. The gnocco fritto eas ok but the meat tasted like they were taken from a packet. when the soup finally arrived uncooked and tasteless. the prices were, retrospectively very expensive for quality of food and service we received. we will certainly not be going back."

"This place was simply amazing. My wife and I went on a date night and we were blown away by the food and the atmosphere. The food was upscale and delicious but the prices and portions were very reasonable. Our server was very nice and extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The service here was probably the best we have had while in Italy. My wife had the octopus and it was the best she has ever eaten, the beef tartar was out of this world and the ice cream that was on the mains was both weird and delicious. Their wine list was extensive and included A LOT of Sicilian wines both from the mountain and elsewhere. We cannot wait to go back."

"Scoperto in occasione di un pranzo domenicale questo bel locale nel porticciolo di Ognina dove appena ti siedi ti portano la lavagnetta del menù scritto col gessetto.Abbiamo provato il Tortino di Spada e Melanzane su fonduta, la Spatola fritta con cipolla caramellata, gli Gnocchi con Polpo, Zucca gialla, Amaretti e Datterino ed i Paccheri al ragù di Calamaro, Vongole, Mandorle e Pangrattato, abbinati ad un buon carricante dell'Etna Feud'o di Vini Gambino consigliatoci.Tutto semplicemente spettacolare e talmente buono che ci sono tornato la domenica successiva per festeggiare la laurea di mio figlio.Anche questa volta ci hanno deliziato con un ottimo pranzo. diversi antipasti cotti, Paccheri al ragù di Calamari, Gnocchetti ai gamberi e pistacchio tostato e uno strepitoso filetto di Dentice ai profumi di mare cotto dentro il saccoccio che appena aperto sprigionava un inebriante profumo di mare.Non è il solito ristorante di pesce, ricette particolari soltanto per veri intenditori."

"Six hungry cyclists, at the end of a hard day of climbing needed a place within a short walk from our hotel. This was a golden find. No menu, set price, lotsa wine, bread and more than we could comfortably eat. First plate: Sardines e pasta, oysters on the half-shell, mussels, fish croquets, cod buñuelos, fried battered fish, shrimp, bonito, chipirones (baby squid) and octopus. Not a choice thereof, but ALL of it! Second plate: A serving of fish risotto, spaghetti with clams and fish ravioli for each of us. Third plate: a choice of Calamari Romana, Sea Bass, Swordfish or prawns. By this time, none of us really wanted any more. Dessert, copitas and the bill: €25 apiece which was entirely reasonable, considering we each had eaten at least two full meals."
