"WOW! Where to even start?! Our experience with Fabio and I Vecchi Amici started in June 2022 when we went to the restaurant for the purpose of doing a tasting in anticipation of getting married in Tuscany the following year and selecting a caterer. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we were welcomed very hospitably! We were expecting to taste only a select few dishes but they really rolled out the red carpet for us and allowed us to taste so many different things- the experience was incredible and one we will never forget. Needless to say we left with very full stomachs! The bistecca Fiorentina really made a lasting impression on us. Ilaria provided us with excellent service! We left the restaurant knowing that we wanted I Vecchi Amici to caterer our wedding. Fabio was extremely responsive and patient in responding to all our questions before we signed the contract. I will also mention that Fabio remained available and responsive up until our wedding day. His English is excellent which made communication very easy: A few days before the wedding we went back to I Vecchi Amici to eat dinner. Once again they really rolled out the red carpet for us, the food was just as incredible as we had remembered it the year prior. We also had the opportunity to meet with Fabio and review logistics for the day of the wedding which was reassuring and put our minds at ease. What we really liked about working with Fabio was that it was a 1 stop shop, not only did he take care of the catering but he also took care of the tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, linens etc. Depending on the package you select he’s got a variety of options to choose from so there is something for all tastes! Now to speak about the main event- the actual wedding which happened in June 2023. WOW! WOW! WOW! We were honestly left speechless. It’s worth mentioning that our cocktail and dinner were supposed to be outside and as cocktail was supposed to begin it started raining which forced us to move inside. This meant the catering staff had to move everything indoors as it was raining, not the most pleasant thing to do- they were being soaked and we felt horrible at this turn of events. Despite this the entire staff was so professional and kept smiling despite the weather and the chaos this brought. We aren’t sure any other catering company would have acted in the same way. We were also determined to have our dinner outside so waited until the rain to pass- this delayed our dinner by 2 hours. Fabio was so flexible and was able to adapt despite how challenging a situation this was and pulled off an absolutely incredible dinner. We honestly couldn’t believe it- him and his staff pulled off something very special for us and we will forever be grateful for their professionalism and for allowing us to enjoy a truly memorable and delicious meal. The variety and quality of the food during the cocktail was incredible- some of our friends thought this was the entire dinner. Needless to say your guests will not go hungry with I Vecchi Amici. All of ours guests kept complimenting the food in the days following our wedding- the fried vegetables, the ravioli and bistecca were fan favourites! My family are tough food critics but no one had a single bad thing to say. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this team to cater your event. Not only is the food incredible but they are hardworking and professional and will ensure your event is a memorable one for everyone. We are personally looking forward to going back to Italy and visit I Vecchi Amici in the future. In summary, I highly recommend- they will exceed your expectations! Definitely 5 star worthy, I’d give them 6 if I could! They will without a doubt make your event memorable."

We hired them for my daughter's wedding. We had multiple courses and each course was delicious. The staff was professional and courteous. We spent three weeks traveling throughout Italy and the Truffle Risotto was the best we had during the trip. The second course was Pork Ravioli which was also one of the finest dishes we at throughout the trip. And the traditional strawberry cake with Chantilly cream was exceptional. Fabio's restaurant and staff provided catering for our welcome party and wedding day in May. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The food was beyond incredible and exceeded our expectations. It did rain on our wedding day (a few times), but the staff were so quick to adjust and make sure all of our guests got fed, even if it wasn't outside as planned. By the end of the night, we had the staff dancing with us following some late night delicious sandwiches. We can't wait to go back and visit the restaurant.
