"Went here last night for the first time (now called Barber Cafe) and the food, service and decor is amazing! The lobster linguini on specials was outstanding, hope they keep it on the menu as I will now be a regular customer and want that everytime! Portions are a very good size, they don't rush you out the door and they were more than happy to make something for one of us who wanted something not on the menu."

We chose to have our child's birthday party at Il Petalo because it is a favorite among our family. The staff took great care of us, the children had a fantastic time, and the pizza was delicious!

what a great place! a real gem in buckhurst hill, absolute glamour with modern Italian food, wonderful wein, beautiful staff and the most amazing manager michaela, only thanks for such a special birthday, we will be back and will recommend. we travel a long way here, but it's worth it.

We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant, enjoying fantastic food and sangria. We tried all five of the tapas dishes, and they were all delicious. eating was amazing. I had the spargel and the courgette pasta with loads of king prawns. it was very delicious. the wood-fired pizza was also delicious! it was a little late, but they called to tell us that there was a problem and they sent a free bottle of wine and an apology note. the meat antipasti was also really good!

We were excited to try out this new Italian restaurant and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a delicious meal on a Friday night with attentive service that was not overbearing. The chef was happy to answer any questions about the menu, which had a nice selection, and the portions were generous. We will definitely be returning!
