We stayed in tavarnelle by chance and we stopped at dinner. all really good cutters and the first really good. We will definitely return to get the meat. Speisekarte ansehen

Our wedding was catered by Il Caratello and it was just amazing. The flavours are just wonderful and the staff did an excellent job by serving a large group at one time. We visited the restaurant in Tavarnelle in March to try out several dishes and everything was lovely. Try the red Stieto wine as well!

Marcello, Dani e tutto lo staff meritano un ottima recensione. Se siete in vacanza tra le colline del Chianti fiorentino, non potete farvi mancare un esperienza Unica nella tradizione Toscana. Piatti tipici come la ribollita, i crostini toscani, cantucci e vin santo. Tutto ottimo! Ne vale la pena. D'estate fanno anche la Bisteccata in piazza, evento imperdibile se ami la bistecca fiorentina Speisekarte ansehen

We visited the restaurant early on a Saturday evening. It was empty so we had the pick of tables. The waiter was attentive took drinks and food orders. The menu was very limited in choice and not much for children to eat. We all had pasta accept one of our party. The waiter it turns out was also the chef! The meals were very average, some hot from the microwave others cold. It was basic but disappointing. The meal cost 65 euros which felt overpriced for the quality. I think we with more staff the restaurant could be something, we will not be returning.

Esperienza culinaria di alto livello, per un piccolo locale a Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. L’ottima qualità della carne (proveniente dalla macelleria Morando, al civico accanto), accompagnata da una sapiente scelta di vini rossi con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, hanno reso l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Ottima anche la selezione di salumi. Menzione speciale per i dolci fatti in casa dalla signora Martina e per lo staff cordialissimo, sempre con il sorriso. Super consigliato! P.S.: non ho materiale fotografico, perché avevo soltanto voglia di mangiare tutto!

This place was amazing! It's such a cute hole in the wall spot with a really homey feel. As a tourist, it felt like a really authentic Italian experience with true tuscan cuisine (as seen as we were surrounded by locals). First, the staff was so incredibly helpful, kind and attentive which is always great to find!! The burrata and pepper starter was absolutely delicious and packed full of tomato flavor. Free bruschetta was also provided during the meal and it was one of the best i've had, more finely chopped than most bruschettas! The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the lasagna was pretty solid as well. I also highly recommend the pistachio dessert! It's not just gelato as it has a gooey wa... Speisekarte ansehen
