Good food, romantic atmosphere and the staff did a great job making our time there special.

beautiful environment (the location on the hills around the blooming is already a guarantee) thoughtful and very attentive staff. I went for a Easter lunch and found great and very well-kept dishes. I think they're in line with those of restaurants of equal prestige.

Service was really really slow, we waited like 20 minutes between plates, the food was weird it’s like the tried too hard, spaghetti with zucchini, strawberries, orange zest and tomato sauce?.... just could not eat it, shrimp hamburguer.... also, trying too hard and not good Too bad, the place has a nice view, bad service

In un ambiente esclusivo ed elegante, con una strepitosa vista sulla città, il ristorante propone un menù di alto livello con ingredienti eccellenti. Ottimi sia gli antipasti che i secondi che abbiamo provato, buono il dolce. Molto buona la scelta dei vini. Servizio preciso ma che lascia il tempo di gustare il cibo, la compagnia e l'ambiente.

One expects that so regional symbolic food as the Fiorentina steak is, shall be served in excellence, especially in the restaurant that is trying to fit in 5-star hotel... Wrong starters were served, then it took some extra 30 minutes to bring the correct ones. They were fine, not any special though. By waiting we were afraid of the fate of the steak. Unfortunately, we were correct. Although we ordered medium rare, the peace of meat was well done, not tender, just big 80euro piece of the chewing gum. Moreover, they offered only their house wine (IGT). Very poor evening indeed.

On the beautiful hills that take you towards Scandicci, you drive 10 minutes in an amazing scenario of villas and green, to arrive where a luxury hotel has been created offering an amazing landscape (on one side, on the other one, is good, but Scandicci doesn't seem like a monumental area). The restaurant tries to give itself the allure of the high end but friendly one, and they more or less get it. Service is professionally friendly and makes the dinner fully enjoyable, though some details can be improved (ie, music on the background was definitely too loud and more for a cocktail bar than for a romantic restaurant with terrace). I am French and fan of cocking. In the same week I tested a great French restaurant and perhaps one of the worth of Florence and imagine which was the most excpensive? The Il Conventino inside the Tolomei Hotel&Resort. In order to test the specialities of this restaurant I decided with my wife to follow the advices of Giovani (a great steward without who this restaurant had closed since a long time). Do you know one class restaurant where the Signature Lamb smoked with grass) course comes on the table cold (I would have to say frozzen)? Just by taking a chop with finger, the bone was frozzen so the meal would have to be also cold ...I tested and it was cold. I asked to warm it thinking that...
