a jewel: great eating, cozy place, interesting dishes, a lot of choice for veggies, delicious vino della casa and really friendly staff. I am Italian, but I write in English to make sure everyone understands as this is not a place to miss in perugia!

fantastic meal from beginning to end. only a picture of my secondi, but everything was a joy. started with the jerusalmer artichoke flan (as surprised how delicious it was), the flu strangozzi cacio e pepe alla fave and finished with her zimtapfelkuchen. omg. so good, at a fair price and it is worth it. reserve and enjoy

our first visit. everything was very kreatiw and tasty. quirky, creative space in a great neighboring. the owner spent time with us to help us learn about local weeping (we have tried two different bottles on his recommendation – both were fabulous and cheap.) my man had the screws – he loved them. we look forward to the return.

In the heart of Perugia, there is a lovely restaurant with a very special atmosphere. It is the Moderno restaurant. I sat outside and I could read the menu through the QR code. I got the pappa al pomodoro and a chocolate mousse, made with rice milk. The chef explained that she makes the rice milk herself and I think this is relevant detail and it does make the difference! The food was very good and it is affordable

The location is small and, in my opinion, really beautiful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with food. The options are few and not too exciting. As a first dish I took pasta with celery pesto and nuts and the pesto was not as I expected: it was liquid and the taste was monotonous. I would have liked to hear more nuts, in this dish according to me nonexistent, maybe cut coarsely so to give a little crispness and break the tiring taste of the sauce. Then I took the amish cake: a spicy cake of dried fruit accompanied by a rice cream and vanilla milk. La location è piccolina e, a parer mio, veramente bellissima. Il personale è molto gentile e accogliente. Purtroppo sono rimasta delusa dal cibo. Le opzioni sono poche e non troppo entusiasmanti. Come primo piatto ho preso pasta con pesto di sedano e noci e il pesto non era come me l'aspettavo: era liquidissimo e il gusto era monotono. Avrei apprezzato che si sentissero di più le noci, in questo piatto secondo me inesistenti, magari tagliate grossolanamente in modo da dare un po' di croccantezza e spezzare il gusto stancante della salsa.
