"This review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. I went here with some friends for dinner one evening and I had a very enjoyable meal here. We only went for main courses, and I decided on a carbonara pizza for €11. It was very good indeed! The pizza itself was massive and very thin and crispy, which is to be expected in this part of Italy...so it was right up my street! The egg was spread across the whole pizza along with the mozzarella, and worked well with the tasty pancetta and pecorino cheese! I really enjoyed it! : The service was very friendly and professional. So, if you're in the area then definitely give this place a go! Easy 5 stars."

"this farm surrounded by greenery is the right place if you want to detach the plug for a few days! there is a lot of peace and silence despite it can accommodate many people, the road is far away and the machines do not know at least disturb, the food is partly handmade by the owner, very good, even try to propose products of the territory that according to me is always an added value for this type of place! There is also a beautiful pool! - the food is very good but we were there for the weekend of August and in practice the menu has always been the same for two days, the breakfast included, considering the many products of the territory maybe would be to evaluate some variant especially for those who stay for more than a day! -The suites are absolutely reset, they find the signs with the nails or holes of the old paintings removed from the idea of intrigues from those who manage the structure and the threads of the bedside lamps held together by a black scotch, being a farmhouse in the green and in nature would be the case to update the games or books available to customers. "Immersed in nature, with tables right at the limit of a wood, easily accessible, but also unavailable to the mobile network! We had a Sunday of the end of October, with the sun rays filtering among the trees, and we really had lunch divinely! Surely do not expect who knows what covers and tableware, the same chairs and tables are among the most spartans ever seen and plates and glasses are disposable, I presume at least of the ecological type, but the appetizers and the first dishes are excellent, not to mention the meat, divine and good cooking, with fresh contours and season. Even the dessert we tasted, all accompanied by 1/4 of really delicious wine! We used the bathroom, finding it clean, despite the location, and we were managed by young people capable and hospitable with waiting times, between one course and the other, not long or unmanageable. The account has been honest and well balanced between costs and rates, however just in quantity."

"My wife and I had been missing from Casperia for too many years, ever since the birth of our first child. For three years we had the privilege of living in a splendid house in the center of the town, and we promised ourselves several times to return to relive the unforgettable moments spent there. Finally, last Sunday, we decided to spend a day in Casperia with a couple of our dear friends. My friend, a fine taster, immediately insisted that I book a restaurant, convinced that I knew the best in the area. However, at the time I was staying here, there were very few restaurants, perhaps just a small tavern outside the town. So, trusting the online reviews, I chose La Vigna , a restaurant that promised well, with excellent reviews and a splendid location within the walls of the village, with outdoor tables overlooking the valley. We asked for an outdoor table, and the first positive note already arrived with the coffee we enjoyed upon our arrival, coming from the renowned Emilian roaster Kavè. After walking around the town, looking in vain for the house where we had lived, we headed towards the restaurant. We were welcomed by a lady with exquisite manners who immediately made us feel at ease. After examining the wine list, which I found well assorted, I chose a Riesling from South Tyrol, a wine that I couldn 't miss. The menu was taken care of down to the smallest detail, with proposals designed to enhance the local flavours. Before we started ordering, the lady offered us a taste of two olive oils, including a local cultivar: both simply amazing, a perfect start! We decided to try a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, to test the quality of the 0 km products: a good choice, since they were clearly local, with intense and persistent aromas and flavours. Even though my friend and I were on a diet, we decided to treat ourselves to a free meal , as recommended by my nutritionist. Thus, we tasted the stringozzi with leeks, pecorino and almonds, as well as those with tomato and basil. For the second courses, we let ourselves be tempted by the Armando sausages, prepared by the local butcher with a mixture of pork, spices and aromas that make them unique. Everything was accompanied by delicious parmigiana, baked potatoes and friggitelli, so tender that they melted in your mouth just looking at them. The desserts, even if only described, looked delicious: strawberry mousse with cream, mango parfait and a soft and fluffy apple cake that my friend, giving in to temptation, ordered. To prevent him from exceeding his daily calories, we were happy to help him by all tasting the cake. To conclude, a 5-grain Kavè coffee closed the meal in style. The bill? Irrelevant when you eat with complete satisfaction, enjoying high quality dishes and raw materials, and are welcomed with kindness and professionalism. Well done, we will definitely see each other again."

"I 'd been meaning to try this place for years as we have a holiday home in the area. Finally we got there and were really happy with our lunch. We were greeted warmly by the husband and wife team who were at pains to find us a nice table. They were lovely with our grumpy 8 year old. I mentioned that I 'd heard their ravioli were great and was shown the freshly prepared pasta in the kitchen. They had made about 5 varieties that day and in the end we agreed on a mixed antipasti which was generous amounts of cheese, prosciutto, home grown and marinaded vegetables (absolutely delicious and I even got the recipe out of them! and a selection of the ravioli which were light and interestingly flavoured...with such things as saffron, truffle, mint, potato, classic ricotta and spinach etc, and some simple pork ribs all washed down with some very reasonably priced wine. Our only complaint was that we were too stuffed to have a dessert! This is the best of real Italian traditional cookery. For me it sums up the 'less is more ' dictate of Italian cookery which relies on top quality ingredients and then doesn 't obscure the favours. It 's a restaurant run by a couple who are confident and happy in what they offer in their wonderful restaurant. We 'll be back often!"
