"my first visit here today, for Sunday dinner. a very pleasant experience overall. beautiful eating, wonderful ambiente and first-class staff. very recommended, but early booking, as it is very busy! olivia, the superior, is in her job with a fantastic feeling of humor, but not intrusive. her weight in gold, my opinion will return."

"beautiful place right at the lord street, southport. lunch menu, good choice. also good for afternoon tea. all cheap. very helpful and friendly staff. with the warmer weather on the way, the exterior are an obvious attraction, especially sitting as a sunfall looks! if you want to add a tipp for the provided beautiful service, it must be in cash, as their payment machine cannot add tips. we were unhappy about it today. we will remember the next time that we will go soon!"

"Whilst the food was nice I thought the place was a bit overpriced. The cheapest bottle of wine was £23.95 to near £40 for a Chianti. Liz had chicken breast which she said was very nice, I had a fillet steak which I asked to...be cooked just over medium with no blood. The steak arrived rare. I know I should have sent it back for cooking more but as I’ve never had a rare steak thought I’d try it. I wish I’d sent it back. To finish we has a cheese board. The 3 cheeses were Gorgonzola, Birkdale Cheddar and Brie, all very nice. The ratio of crackers to cheese was way off, there were about 6 crackers and I think at least 12 were needed for the cheese. I asked for a port to go with the cheese board but they didn’t have any port in the restaurant! The staff were very good. All together not the worst meal I’ve had but certainly not the best. It was one of those meals that won’t make you rush back but wouldn’t put you off going again either."

"Booked for outside table to enjoy the fabulous weather did this over the phone dealt with professionally explained husband was celiac staff said not a problem they could offer a good menu arrived at the restaurant table was ready and reserved seated greeted by two very friendly members of staff knowledgeable about menu had the cheese and meat platter for starters very tasty supplied gluten free savoury bread bites which my husband said were really nice all in all the main meals wine and coffee were excellent it was our first time at Volare and it certainly wont be our last now on our favourite list of restaurants well done Volare"

"what a wonderful restaurant. we came here to the 80th and 81th birthday of my man and could use the back space, when 18 of us were. we had our 2 children with us (ages 3 and 5 and although there are no special children's menus, the employees were so courteous that my son made a smaller pepperoni pizza and my daughter a small macaroni cheese and served them while the adults still decided. the girl who took care of us all was absolutely fabulous (I regret that I cannot remember her names! nothing was too much annoyed and she was so attentive all night. the food we ordered was beautiful and we were allowed to bring a birthday cake, and the personal even made us see so that we could have it for pudding. I can not recommend chez moi enough, the staff and the food are both wonderful:"
