Indian Lounge - Speisekarte

Really nice place with excellent food. Best chapati I've ever had. Indian food in France can be poor because it is hard to get ingredients, in this case it has made they have triumphed. Delicious!

Stumbled across this restaurant when ravenously hungry and glad we did! The food and service were excellent and great value (for Nice). Stunning atmosphere, intimate and colourful with lanterns adorning the outside booths. Highly recommend the vegetarian thaali.

We eat here for lunch and choose the three course Goa menu. It was really good and tasted all home made. Especially the vegetables biryani is highly recommended. Easy to have a delicious vegetarian meal here. But also the chicken kourma was very tasteful.Service was very friendly and quick. Speisekarte ansehen

Avoid, avoid, avoid.......Overcooked, inedible chicken, beef and fish, all served appallingly.....Had the nerve to try and charge us for the entire meal, even though we could only eat the accompaniments......You have no taste, nor taste buds, if you choose to eat here......Would mark this restaurant a 0/5 if I could.......

This night we decided to just wander round the old town til something took our fancy. The gorgeous smell of curry as we passed and the friendly waitress in traditional dress made this our chosen restaurant for the night. We got a table outside and the atmosphere was great. The food was tasty and the wine was nice. We would go here again for sure next time we are in Nice.

Fancied a change of scenery and food so found ourselves in the Indian Lounge in the old town in Nice. The food was excellent, service first class and staff spoke excellent English (if that's important). We found ourselves a table outside (along a narrow alley) which felt quite intimate. In old town. Passed this place many times. But never ate here till last night. We had some popadoms to start. But fir sine strange reason didnt bring the dips out till the main meal. Wife had prawn massala. That said was tasty.I had chicken tikka.on a hot platter . Tasty but had better. Mushroom rice was tasty. Overhaul food was good service was good. But think will keep passing this place again. Been there done that, sort of thing. I think its the set up with the tables at the side that grabs people.

I feel compelled to counter Simon's last review, as I feel that this is totally unjustified. My wife and I make a point of going for an Indian meal in every city we visit around the world and we both agreed that last nights visit to the Indian Lounge was the best we had ever had. Firstly, the decor is amazing, and very colourful. The staff are really friendly and the food was excellent. All really fresh tasting with lots of subtle spice flavours coming through. And nothing like your standard generic mush that we so often get served in the U.K. Absolutely excellent - couldn't fault it in any way.

After a enjoyable day around the city we decided to have a bit of spice to tantalize our sences. The food quality was very good. Cooked well and good mix of sauce and meats. We want for the half bottle of house wine and it did the trick with both taste and price e650. The decour was very good. Yes it was bright with its neon colors...but india is also bright with colors . If i had one complaint. .is that the service is rushed a little. The manager seems to have a strong hold on the team...if they relaxed it a little maybe the customer would dance it also. But in general...a great restaurant. ..and I would come again.
