This restaurant is fantastic for dining out, with friendly staff and consistently delicious food! They offer a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including a new tapas-style lunch menu that is absolutely fantastic.

I brought my mom here for dinner during the week and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the cocktails were also quite good.

Perfect service can’t fault it at all turned up on my own service was amazing didn’t make me feel awkward for dining alone food was perfect I even commented that the wine wasn’t for me (not there fault and scrubbed if from the bill food was cooked perfect and the service second to none Speisekarte ansehen

Popped in here whilst on break at work and opted for the 2 course set menu for £14.50 I had the meatballs and the lamb casserole and both were excellent!! The meatballs came plenty of Turkish bread to mop up the cheesy sauce and the lamb casserole flavour was immense Friendly service and great value lunch menu

Been three times recently so thought I’d best review it. Fantastic place, great food and service. Jovial atmosphere. Also, I recently returned from Istanbul and the food I had over there was the same as here exceptional. Great if you have a larger group and like a bit of atmosphere on a weekend. Portions generous, we took loads home and had the next day. Still tasted superb. Will be going again soon.

I hadn't visited the Istanbull Grill for a while but I visited on Friday night for a family celebration. The new layout looks good and I didn't notice any draught from the doors which had been a minor issue before. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals and in fact it exceeded our expectations. The sea bass was especially good as was the sucuk which we had as one of the starters. I would recommend sharing starters if there are a few of you. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Having always wanted to try this place, Ii went for a mid week treat with my mum and sister last night. Why oh why have I not been here sooner. Lovely decor, fantastic staff and amazing food. The staff were were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and professional. We had the mixed grill between two of us and mum had the swordfish steak. The food was seasoned wonderfully and the meat was cooked perfectly. Cocktails and drinks were lovely and fresh too. We even managed to bring some of the mixed grill home with us too. We will certainly be back and will bring the rest of the family with us too.

I have been to Istanbul Grill many times and have always enjoyed the fantastic food and service. However, after my recent visit, I have decided not to return due to their dishonest practice of adding a mandatory service charge to the bill. My party of 8 ended up spending close to £300, with an additional £30 added to the final bill as a tip. While we typically tip the staff generously, we believe that tipping should be optional and not forced. It is unfair to advertise one price on the menu and then add hidden charges at the end, similar to buying a £1 loaf of bread only to be charged £1.20 at the till. This practice is not acceptable, especially considering recent changes to the menu where...

Its such a shame to be writing this as we have visited this restaurant many times over the years…. However, we will not be returning. Although the food was lovely, our issue comes with their menu changes and the service charge they bang onto the bill. A year ago you received your main meal with a side of salad and rice or bread. The prices and portion sizes were reasonable. However, after visiting last week for a mid week meal, we discovered that your main meal now comes with nothing else. Nothing. I ordered a mixed kebab and I got 2 skewers on a plate. A smaller portion of rice that used to be included with the meal is now an extra £4!! So after ordering a couple of side dishes each to make...
