Amazing food, great atmosphere and music, friendly staff. We loved checking out the paintings and little shop featuring local artists.

Great service and food, it would have been 5 if they were open on time ; . We will 100% go again, the pancakes were the best I’ve had in years.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here yesterday. Varied menu with some specials. Home cooked. Veggie and vegan options. Reasonably priced. Relaxed ambience. Would recommend.

Why this place isn’t rammed to the rafters all day, I don’t know. Good value, mega portions and clearly cooked to order. I’m ashamed I’ve never been in before to be honest. As for the music??? Sold

I have ordered delivery from this restaurant several times and have always been impressed. The quality of the food is amazing, and I hope to dine in with my family when the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this place.

We had the wrap party for our show here and the food was out of this world. Very generous portions all prepared to perfection. Everyone had a fantastic time and we all left in a full jolly mood. You must check this place out. Slightly off the beaten track but a hidden Leicester gem worth seeking out.

So glad we decided to go out of our way to James' had the flash burger and mac n cheese to share it was very indulgent but excellent. Cocktails also very good, espresso martini and margarita! It was a Saturday night, wasn't too busy, which was nice the atmosphere was very cozy and chilled. Will return soon.

I recently held my 70th birthday party at James's Bistro and I highly recommend James, the staff, and the venue. They provided a delightful finger buffet at a very fair price and their service was exceptional. We were able to bring in a DJ and enjoy live music thanks to the sound system they had available and the ample dancing space. The cafe itself is charming, and I will definitely be returning for another visit.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, but the wait for our food was extremely long, over an hour. We agreed that you would need to have a completely free schedule if you wanted to eat there. We requested extra hollandaise sauce, but it never arrived. We waited for a while to eat, but eventually had to leave before our food got cold. I had a feeling that they wouldn't bring us the sauce when I asked for it, and I was right. The eggs benedict had very little hollandaise sauce on them, which was disappointing for me. Despite these issues, the quality of the food was good and I would be willing to give the restaurant another try. I suggest they improve their servi...
